Hate to say this but Burnley really up for this and showing their quality. Just give us one of their to wingers and we would be like a new team. Need them to have an off day or bring something special to beat them. Hope we still have something special to serve, but won't get my hopes up. And for the love of whatever please please not another 3/4/5-0!!

I would be very very happy with a draw today. Heart says win - head says narrow loss or draw. I think a draw would keep our good start to the season going. So so so nervous about this one! COYB!!!

So it is the day after, and I’m still feeling slightly optimistic. Not in the sense of going up or reach the play-offs, but I’m no longer dead certain we will be in a relegation battle all season. Somewhere in the middle will do. Kudos to the recruitment team for a job well done. Now it’s up to those on the field to keep us in this division (oh how we have fallen…)

And what worries me most is that Venkys does New Public Managment, sees we’ve done well by ourselves last season through sales and know recruiting (well) with pennies, so they slash the budget even more next season. Nothing would surprise me less with these guys…

Must say I am kinda amazed by these signings compared to what I was expecting. Those expectations were low and rightly so, but in some way they are already exceeded. Is this some kind of excitement I’m feeling or just another red herring? Time will tell, but more bodies in won’t hurt. Better to gamble than give up before a ball is kicked.

Thank (insert deity) they have no quality up top. Pears will give me heart attack before the season is over.

The one thing that is a BIG difference this season (so far) is subs that change the game. I was critical of Eustace but have to put my hands in the air and admit I was wrong. The way he has won us games with his subs has been refreshing and kept us undefeated this far. It isn’t pretty but it’s points on the board. Even though Oxford had the better chances I felt it was a deserved win today, and a fair bit of that is down to Eustace. Refreshing. Good performances from Carter, Trondstad and the ever awesome Yuki. Ohashi deserves better players around him. And if todays game is anything to go by we won’t miss Travis. There. I said it. To much drama and not enough product. Still….onwards and upwards! All bow to the mighty Rovers!

Typical Championship football! Some huff and puff, some horrible mistakes and a few moments of glory. Happy Eustace has brought a fighting spirit into this team, going by our last matches. Think we will win this. Someone else than the ordinary suspects, like Pickering or Trondstad to score the winner. COYB!!

I think subs might be the deciding factor in this game. We look on top, but every time the ball goes to Pears from Hyam I actually expect an own goal….

Back from the holidays and nervously looking at our squad and the coming season. Love our opening 2 and really excited to follow Gueye and Yuki and see how they’ll deal with the championship as the season gains traction. Looks really good so far! So why nervous? Because no posts from me and ten goals scored in two matches. I’m jinxing it ain’t I?
