  1. Need Wahlstedt to put Leo in the changing room. This is going to be nervy.
  2. Looking at the replays at half time I would be enraged if I were a Plymouth fan. They should be 3-1 up. I stand by my earlier statement that we will need 3 more goals to be sure to win this.
  3. I can’t for the life of me understand how Gallagher isn’t trained as a CB. Useless as a striker but very good at defending. Look at his attributes and what he contributes. McFadzean would score more goals up front and Gallagher would concede less at the back. And thumbs up for Leo. Deserve praise when you’re doing good. Now 3 more please!
  4. Now push on! 3 more goals and we might win this.
  5. Mr. Rovers. Take a bow. The one and only Super Duper Sammie!
  6. Cardiff beat Ipswich at home after two late goals. Both in extra time. Could do with some of that for Rovers.
  7. Or give me the first 5 years of the 90s or those first years with Souey. The Souey-years were the last special period for me. Lots of pride. Local and academy boys mixed with gruff experience. Duff, Dunn, Jansen, Friedel, Short, Tugay etc. Those were the days. Seems a faint memory now. On to Plymouth. Don’t really now what to expect. But I know what I need and that is a convincing win with a plan and not gifted goals. With Wahlstedt in goal we need to outscore them so good opportunity to get some momentum going. And then I read what Eustace said in the LET….
  8. Plymouth is it? Must win? Nah….players get paid and no cares enough to even try and understand this league. We’ll probably draw or lose this one leading to a total board meltdown. I’m thinking we will get one more win and it will be against Leicester, Soton or Leeds sparking optimism etc that will come crashing down as we are relegated (or very close). We now rely on the kindness of others to survive.
  9. Didn't even get up from the couch when we scored 1-1. My girlfriend just looked mystified at me as this was a first. Felt we were gifted a goal and created nothing by ourselves. Say what you will about JDT but at least we created something over 90 mins that looked like football. This is just awful. Is it weird that I can actually feel the doom and gloom around the club from Norway? There is just something....wrong...when I've seen us play lately. No plan just hoof. It's like the TV is radiating "we are going down".
  10. They gifted us a goal. We have produced nothing.
  11. Sammie scores. Mr. Rovers.
  12. If there ever was a game that had 0-0 written all over it this is it. Trust both teams to miss a penalty if given. Really poor.
  13. How hard is it? A little bit of Jon and a little bit of John. FFS. It’s black or white at the moment isn’t it?
  14. Two horrible teams. This is dire.
  15. Bought season ticket at Rovers TV. Stockholm syndrome. Or that itch you can’t help but scratch. Only thing I know is I have immense respect for those going tonight. Whatever you choose just show your love for the club as you always do. Don’t let them beat you. COYB(fans)!!
  16. I give up. Feel really bad for those who travelled.
  17. Sammie looks frustraded. He’ll probably score soon.
  18. Good to see Pickering back in the squad. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but we usually do well with him in the team.
  19. Ok....so after feeling totally deflated for a couple of weeks I'm anxiously looking forward to this one after Tuesdays heroic performance. Hope we can bring some of that energy and joy to todays game. Give those travelling today something to cheer about and make us proud again. I think we can still despise our "owners" despite rooting for our team. Give us a game of grit, determination, and willingness to play for the shirt and I'll be happy. Do that and we'll probably win. No need to get fancy about it - just give it your best. COYB!
  20. This will be a «park the bus»-game isn’t it? Can’t see us holding out for long if that indeed is the tactic. I think some of the reason we did well in the cups under JDT was that we didn’t roll over no matter the opposition. Made for some proud moments to be honest. Now I think the focus will be on avoiding relegation and nothing boost confidence like a heavy loss no matter who you’re facing. I always were of the opinion that a good run in the cup would be good for both the squad and the fans, but feel most clubs these days sees them as a nuisance the higher up they are. Hope Eustace proves me wrong and goes for the juggular but won’t get my hopes up. Would be nice to have a good performance full of energy etc even if it should result in a loss. I’m guessing being a Rovers supporter these days means the bar for what we accept as ok is getting lower by the minute. What should be the absolute lowest bar at this club is «Arte et labore» like it was in the old days of Kenny, Souey and Hughes. Even in the cups. Give s our pride back!
  21. Yawn! New strategy: bore the opposition to death and draw
