That was a kick to the balls we didn't need. Both Trondstad and Travis out. Sigh... -

I’m thinking the upcoming fixtures including this one is close to impossible to predict. Fatigue will be a problem sooner rater than later so I’m expecting a cautious approach from Eustace. Important to try and avoid suspensions and injuries and at the same time being competitive. So I’ll gladly take 0-0 and a boring game if we come out the other end unscathed. A point away from home is always good. Hoping for another 3 points and 3 goals, but head doesn’t quite agree. Still: COYB!!!! -
Different team after the subs. Gueye really made a difference today. In hindsight perhaps Eustace was right with his lineup to spare some players considering games coming up. Brilliant 3 points and good to get some goals. Brittains was a peach. Think he also is my man of the match. Onwards and upwards! Back in fifth. Oxford next brimming with confidense. Long may it continue and pretty please buy some players!

Weimann off for JRC

Brittain! Easy peasy .

Bah humbug! Totally forgot it was kickoff at noon so went to the shop with the missus thinking it was starting at 3. Doh. Second game I’ve missed this season and of course we win, but can’t really complain can I? Despite not seeing the game I hope we can put together a cup run this season. It’s always good for morale and winning games is what we live for isn’t it. Onwards and upwards! -

Burnley have let in 9 goals so far this season. 9. If we were going to score today we would need something really really special. I think the boys really tried, but the lack of quality was glaring today. Still we didn’t roll over when going behind so that’s progression at least. We really missed Travis today….again. And we really desperatly need a striker. Now. *sigh*
-
Hedges for Trondstad. Smells of desperation. Think this is over.
-
Weimann and Leonard on - ACD and Gueye off
-
How did we not score that?
-
And there it is….doh
-
Squeaky bum time. Looking at our schedule a red card for Batth or Hyam would be devastating.
-
Ohh….that’s close. Keep it up please!
-
We have totally contained them. Zero shots on goal and no real chances, but I think this is a game between to defensive teams. Not expecting much different 2nd half. As long as it’s 0-0 we are even odds to win this. COYB!!!
-
It’s the same story as most games this season. We are more or less solid as rock in defense, but really not much up top despite producing some wonderful goals from time to time. We really miss Travis.
