  1. Get in!! A bit lucky but I’ll take it!
  2. Well….that was pretty awful. We look disjointed. Lots of players go missing from time to time. Really struggling to see what our gameplan is. Prove me wrong, Ismael. Make some changes and make them work.
  3. Frustrating how we keep trying to attack down our left side with Hedges.
  4. Am I the only on bored by this? Could do with a goal or at least a chance. Kargbo and Cantwell both being invisible. Only Ohashi this far that can keep his head high
  5. From the looks of it we’re getting battered. Toth already called into action.
  6. Miller looks a player and Kargbo should always start
  7. And Charlton beat Watford at home and are top of the league! Good to have this batshit league back. I think this season will be another weird one for all teams included. Guessing we’ll have another season where a team is in playoff around christmas and down by the end of the season. Manager change galore across the league. More financial shenanigans from who knows where, what or who. It’s bound to be entertaining, enthralling, infuriating, rage-inducing, heartbraking stupid fun. Or at least better than tik-tok. Bring it on!
  8. On Europa League: not that I’m being patriotic or anything, but Bodø-Glimt will win it!
  9. Another 7th. Guess the loons in Pune are happy now. At the same time Eustace did the business for Derby. They’ll be competing at the top of the table next season while we stay heartbroken. Despite a strong end to the season I’m not convinced by Valerian. I’ll give him benefit of the doubt, but something was sorely lacking today. We had that something under Eustace, but his departure absolutely stopped all momentum we had despite a period of poor results (because of backroom shenanigans). This is on the administration and the owners. This was a bigger chance than under Mowbray. ALL other results went our way. This is down to poor managment at every level. Time to take the dog for a walk, soak myself in alcohol and try to forget this insane rollercoaster of season. My head hurts when trying to sum up the season. Still I 100% appreciate this forum and those battling travelling supporters who make football enjoyable for those of us who can’t attend. You are the true heart and soul of the club, and made of some stuff I can’t comprehend.
  10. MotM between Batth and Toth for me. Tells you all you need to know.
  11. Another brilliant save from Toth. His positioning is top class based on this match.
  12. As infurating as he can be from time to time I’ll hate to see him go. A good servant for the club who has given us some brilliant performances over the years.
  13. This game would’ve been interesting with VAR
  14. Toth keeping us alive. That is actually a very good save as it got a reflection
  15. The life of a Blackburn Rovers supporter…..sigh…
  16. Great performance from the back four and Toth. Batth back to his brilliant self. Just need some of that tenacity up top as well. Sheffield United is the better team and earlier in the season this would’ve been a good result, but we need something special today. Would love for Gueye to come in and score with a towering header at 90+3, but by then it’ll probably be all over. Still….better than I hoped for! Roll on 2nd half. We are still in this and as long as it’s 0-0 the chance is there. If Sheff U score I think it’ll be game over. Keep the faith if you can. This is one of those instances beer is made for!
  17. Too sloppy and way too lackadaisical in the final third. Need the same intensity and precision up top as in defence.
  18. 100% penalty. Won’t be given because it’s Cantwell. Seems the ref don’t like him.
  19. Was about to say the same. Feel much mote confident with this guy between the posts. Too bad Eustace didn’t give him a chance earlier.
  20. After taking a much needed brake from football I just can’t help myself anymore. And what a day to come back for! Lots of action in both ends of the league and Rovers in with a shot off playoffs. Still struggling to whip up some real enthusiasm, but hopefully that will change over the course of the match. Not expecting it to be honest, but stranger things have happened. So…onwards and upwards. COYB!!!!
  21. So I decided to come back and give my beloved Rovers another chance other than checking results and text updates. Who are these guys? I recognize the name but not the player. This is heartbraking if nothing else. I knew that Eustace leaving would have an impact, but come on…this is pathetic. Headless chickens. And every time the camera pans to Ismael Valerian I fell pissed off and despondent. Well….here´s hoping that against all odds that we conjure up some magic in 2nd half and let jim2k have his first win of the season. Onwards and….ehhr…..
