  1. Just the two and a half more years of Ayala’s contract to go 😯.
  2. Ayala out for four weeks according to Mowbray. You couldn’t make it up given what Boro fans told us about his new year ‘injuries’. They thought we’d at least get a tune out of him pre Christmas though!!!
  3. I thought we’d win despite the make shift team, as I predicted pre match. Without fail Mowbray will win when the knives come out and so it proved. Delighted for Dack, we need to find a spot in the first 11 for him moving forward now. Davenport better start too.
  4. Well Mowbray trusted Williams rather than his physios and look how that ended up, Bigdogg.
  5. Start of a new year and Ayala is injured again. Boro fans will be laughing their tits off at us.
  6. 100%. Sure he’s scored a few against us before too.
  7. If Travis gets injured today then Mowbray wants firing on the spot!
  8. Yep I called this last week. Dack>Travis>Wharton/Williams>new absentee And on he goes.
  9. Taken some constructive feedback/ideas well then?
  10. Mowbray, without fail, comes out with a result everytime the heat is firmly on and the knives are out. I see this as being no different: Big Club 1 Rovers 2
  11. Movement, albeit out, indicates what we all knew, which is that Mowbray must be safe as houses.
  12. We know from what the likes of Danny Graham have said since leaving us that Mowbray will be giving them the proper silent treatment right now. Withdraws himself and gets the right hump with everyone at the club (bar Travis it would seem). This behaviour has led to a turnaround in results pretty much every time to date - if it doesn’t on Saturday against Big Club then I think we can safely say he’s lost the support of the players.
  13. Not one word from our players on social media after last night, which is very rare for them. Usually the old ‘can’t wait to put it right at the weekend’ rollocks. First sign of Uncle Tone feeling a little heat if he’s told them to keep quiet?
  14. Just spat my tea out reading his quote which you have summarised superbly. Who the heck does he think he is?!
  15. Brum and Rovers both licking their wounds ahead of the weekend. I know who I’d put my money on to come out firing after poor defeats - and it ain’t us!
  16. Pleasantly surprised to see that sentiment is gradually changing on Twitter and Facebook towards Mowbray. Still seeing the same come backs from the Mowbray brigade though. ‘Who could we possibly get?’, ‘what’s he meant to do with all these injuries?’. A new one, ‘we don’t have the budget to compete with the better teams’. Yeah...let’s forget the cash he’s spunked over the past few seasons. Absolutely detest our ‘fans’ who talk about us as if we’re some tin pot club. Managers would be queuing up to manage our famous club - particularly when they’d have the autonomy that Mowbray does.
  17. I don’t think Mowbray has a clue how to use him without Graham. He’ll revert to the fabled ‘false 9’ formation against Brum IMO to accommodate Dack and I’ll bet that won’t work. Again.
  18. Yep. First we were missing ‘Dacky’s individuality’, now it’s ‘Trav’s character’. Once he realises he still can’t turn things around, it’ll be ‘Wharton’s steadiness’ at the back or similar.
  19. I’ve always said our digital team have the easiest jobs in the world. Just copy and paste every week. Questioning players characters - let’s not forget he’s brought the vast majority of them through the door himself.
  20. One win in seven. We’ve fallen behind in our last six matches (not scoring ourselves in all of those six first halves). He has not, cannot and will never ever be able to sort the defence out. If you have an ounce of dignity about you Tony, then just go. You know very well that your number is up. Have you got the decency to do the right thing? I very much suspect not. From Josh on Twitter: Update after 22 games... 18/19 - 31 points, 5 off the play offs. 19/20 - 34 points, 1 off the play offs. 20/21 - 29 points, 7 off the play offs.
  21. Stephen Warnock spoke to the Athletic recently about Allardyce’s first few days at Rovers and how he concentrated on defending and set pieces, making a huge difference in just a couple of sessions. He would have an absolute field day with Mowbray’s set up.
  22. 2-1 Hudds. Hopefully that’s it for Mowbray but we all know it won’t be.
  23. Gotta say I feel the same, which is quite unbelievable after 25+ years of following us.
  24. Oh I guarantee you there will be none of that. It’ll be all ‘so sorry for the injuries you’re having to contend with Tony, it’s really hampering you isn’t it?’ And ‘when you get a fit side together no doubt you’ll feel you can have a good stab at the top six’. It’s all so infuriating and boring.
