Given the huge array of players Mowbray has brought in it’s quite astounding that we never have a striker to come off the bench.

Been this way ever since he joined. I would say ‘stop playing strikers on the wing FFS!’ but I’ve given up with Mowbray on this. Just like I know he’ll never ever sort our defence out.

Yet we were gonna stick loads past them many on here were saying? ‘We always thrash the little teams’. I feared Mowbray’s death run wasn’t quite over with just the one draw and two defeats.

I’d wager that for the majority of those who want to give Mowbray the full season, come May when we’ve not had a sniff of the play-offs it will then be, ‘look what he had to contend with injury wise, give him til Christmas’, ‘look at the progress of our playing style, he needs more time’, ‘give him the summer window to address our defence’. And on we go.

Utter nonsense to even compare the two.

I’m pretty confident he said ‘3 windows’ a good 5+ windows ago. From memory it was said in reference to keeping the likes of Lenihan at the club. Funnily enough the local media haven’t quizzed him about it.

This is the most frustrating thing for me. I genuinely feel we could be 5+ points adrift at the bottom and he’d still be as safe as houses.

We shouldn’t be surprised after nearly 4 years. The man cannot organise a defence to save his life. Pitiful.

And no doubt Mowbray will still be here and we’ll be plodding along in mid table.
