Willing to bet that if Evans goes when we play them next he’ll be the best player on the pitch (the ‘point to prove’ Evans before he reverts to type). Not a lad we need in the trenches but I’ve no doubt we’ll get someone worse as a replacement.

They already have Grabban the cheeky buggers who is head and shoulders above anything we have.

The other thought for me, especially with these Sat-Weds games - is Mowbray muddling the players’ thoughts (his love for square pegs / round holes aside). Is he making them overthink, giving them too much information on previous opponents, upcoming players etc. We all know he muddles himself silly sometimes, so I’d imagine it’s rubbing off on the players and could go a little way to explaining our ‘performances’ when they don’t get much time in between matches.

He’s definitely throwing more and more under the bus to save face. One can only hope that the end is nigh but I’d imagine it’s not.

I posted this in another thread a few days ago, but he's constantly posting 'stories' on his Instagram of ice baths and rehabilitation boots. It doesn't look as though his body can cope with the rigours of Saturday-Tues/Weds football, while he's also prone to injuries. Both of these reasons explain why he's here, IMO.

I don’t think we’re quite at the end of one of Mowbray’s death spiral runs yet which spells good news for the Nobbers - reckon it’s got another couple of games to go before we then win the next few. Rinse and repeat for the next ten after that. The Mowbray way.

Funnily enough I read a few Forest fans’ views after the game the other day and they said how he went downhill once their gaffer (at the time) started playing him out wide. I’m convinced he’ll never make a footballer full stop, but Mowbray has a hell of a lot to answer for as since day dot he’s persisted with this ‘wide forward’ nonsense.

Agreed. Look at Grabban last week - like chalk and cheese with our lot, save for a younger Graham. Keeps coming back time and again to that money wasted by Mowbray on two dollopers.

You can lay the blame at about 7 players’ doors for the first one, but proof if any more was needed that Tosin is a million miles away from the City side.

Because he's just as guff! Outside of a 35 year old Graham, who is close to being taken to the knackered yard, the other options are frighteningly bad.
