  1. He’ll never stop with this Gallagher wide nonsense will he. Does my bloody head in.
  2. Second shocker of an interview in as many days: https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/politics/quicktest/18055335.nothings-changed-mowbray-felt-signings-sufficient/
  3. Tony would not welcome Cafu’s flair at right back. However, if he were on the opposition’s side then he’d put 3 men on him.
  4. Yep: https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/politics/quicktest/18048701.barnsley-name-new-boss-time-rovers-trip/ New manager bounce incoming. We all know the script.
  5. We could be playing Liverpool in the Cup and you’d claim it was a licence to print money on a Rovers win. I’d estimate that 75%+ of your Rovers score predictions are wrong - and that’s a conservative figure.
  6. 4-1, piece of p***. We’ll be swigging back the merlot by full time. What are you worried about?
  7. Depends what you’re looking for. Chapman isn’t a crosser, where as that’s Perhaps McNeil’s biggest strength. Agree with the rest though - Chapman sounds like he needs a king size rocket shoved up his arse.
  8. As Mark said, it certainly ain't Dack! Seen him hit a couple now and they've been bloody awful. On Holtby, Mowbray needs keeping away from the mic wherever possible. Just chats such rubbish.
  9. Nope. As I say, he’d have needed counselling by now I’d suspect if he’d joined then and stuck around til now.
  10. He'd have been on the opposite flank to Chapman in the under 23s if he'd joined us. Must be gutted the lad: https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/11/14/do-exclusive-how-blackburn-missed-out-on-burnley-star-dwight-mcn/
  11. Mowbray’s delusion rubbing off on the players now: @TosinAdarabioyo: Not the result we wanted or deserved on the weekend but we've got two weeks now to right our wrongs!
  12. You say that but weren’t Travis and Reed our CM two at home to Boro last season when we couldn’t even get out of our own third? Edit: my bad it was Evans and Reed. Would explain it with the former being in the midfield!
  13. I think that's him done now with football. Surely at his age you'd take the compensation and live your days out in the sun. As an aside, you won't find the media defending their decision much, but wait til the day we eventually pot Mowbray despite our God awful form and there will be outrage.
  14. Sure. He can win headers but can't attack the ball for toffee.
  15. Gallagher is a big 6’4 lad but plays like he’s the height of Paul Dickov. I’d argue Dickov was more effective at heading too if you take pointless flick ons out of the equation.
  16. Enough. TM’s teams play beautiful football - the media keep telling me.
  17. Lenihan’ suddenly turned into Van Dijk in TM’s eyes despite earlier in the season saying he’d have his work cut out to keep his place / get back in, or words to that effect. As you say too, it didn’t take much to predict that Lenihan would succumb to an injury sooner or later this season. He’ll have another spell out before the season is done too I’d wager.
  18. He has. Saw Samuel is in Barcelona so imagine the rest will be on their jolly’s too.
  19. Exclusive of the Barnsley game I’d say 1-3 points is a fair estimate as there’s a chance we could do Derby. Not a chance of 7.
  20. I really do fear for us if Barnsley do a Luton/Charlton on us. Looking at our fixtures after that: - Brentford home: they’re on absolute fire away from home at the moment. Loss - Stoke away: O’Neill will outsmart Tony, no problem. Loss. - Derby home: you feel we need to win it but can see a draw. - Swansea away: easy home win - Bristol City away: easy home win Takes us to Wigan at home just before Christmas. Gulp.
  21. Daft in the extreme pal but they’re there on Twitter and Facebook - trust me. These fans will be the first to say a change was right when it inevitably does come - albeit far too late.
  22. Twitter and Facebook is where the majority of the deluded fools are dwelling right now. ‘We’ll come good!’, ‘We’re getting such bad luck with injuries’, ‘refereeing decisions are costing us!’, ‘get a few new players in January and we'll fire up the league’. Heads. In. Sand.
