  1. Don’t think he has a goal in him either! But yes, he should be playing. Graham is the only one who knows where the net is (save for Arma’s long rangers).
  2. Better on from the 15th minute. However, an Arma wonder goal or set piece aside, this team doesn’t have a goal in it. Get Danny G on.
  3. That finish from Samuel summed him up. Makes Jason Roberts look like Romario in front of goal.
  4. What on earth goes on at Brockhall after a defeat? ‘More of the same, lads’ would be my wager.
  5. Route one with Armstrong and Samuel up top. Okay, Tony.
  6. He’s like Buffon compared to Walton.
  7. So do the other ten lads. Wake up boys FFS.
  8. I know we’re not exactly blessed with options at centre half tonight, but I just can’t see Mulgrew and Tosin being a good partnership. I fear they’ll be far too laid back as a combination and just not switched on enough.
  9. #Rovers XI: Walton, Nyambe, Mulgrew, Adarabioyo, Bennett, Downing, Johnson, Rothwell, Holtby, Armstrong, Samuel. Travis, monumental loss as is Lenihan. Bennett at LB again *slams head against laptop*.
  10. That’s me lumping cash on Rovers. Cheers, Merce!
  11. Beat me to it. Sounds like he's peeved off with a few of them from Saturday. But what's the betting these two escaped any rollockings and keep their places for tomorrow?
  12. Oh I agree. He’s a stubborn old goat. I found this article online earlier: https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18139032.mowbrays-message-advice-rovers-striker-gallagher/ Safe to say he and Gallagher have learned absolutely nothing between now and then about how Gally can score goals or his role in the team!
  13. Hopefully Mowbray’s actually watched the first goal back now and given him a ‘man up’ chat. I do fear TM won’t have learned from yesterday and we’ll see Bennett at LB and Gallagher at RW once again come Tuesday night.
  14. Still angry tonight that the fat b****** Cook has got another one over on us. Another opportunity to shut him up goes missing.
  15. Mowbray was definitely doing the same for a period once we went 1 down - the camera panned to him. Motivational stuff.
  16. He seems so hesitant to shoot. Either that or the ball eventually gets stuck underneath him.
  17. He sounds surprised that Gallagher didn’t score. I’d be astounded if he found the back of the net. As an aside, apparently he hasn’t seen the first goal back, but Walton told him he was fouled. Watch it back please Tony and put a huge rocket up his arse, preferably aimed for Brighton.
  18. Evans has fractured his toe. Awful skull fracture aside, it’s a case of rinse and repeat with him in a Rovers shirt isn’t it?
  19. As an aside, I reckon we could have played on til Christmas and not scored. Arma on the bench is just criminal given the lack of goals in the side - as we all said at the start.
  20. Brereton looks somewhat reborn (albeit without threatening the goal - yet), but this bloke has become a much bigger issue. Mowbray seems to have a love affair with playing him out wide, and he just looks completely lost. He’s 6’4, but plays in the air like he’s 5’5, he doesn’t know where to make runs, he doesn’t use his strength effectively, and he simply does not know how to attack a football. I’m confident he’d still be useless up front, but this RW ‘thing’ has to stop and now. Will it under Mowbray? I don’t think so.
  21. Played well. I just don’t think he’ll ever score goals. He doesn’t have that knack about him (hope I’m proved wrong). Gallagher makes him look like Messi too!
  22. Harsh on Holtby! He’s obviously got fitness issues, but he had a half decent game. Gallagher and Bennett however are pitiful footballers who, despite a bit of effort, are headless chickens who will never play for a top 6 side. I cannot believe that Tony can’t see it.
  23. As I say, bar one match, he has Tony’s number. The ‘performance’ once we went one down was galling, it really was.
