Just been asking him about it on Twitter. If true (and I definitely feel something smells fishy) it’s bloody extremely worrying that we’re back to the days of the V’s listening to agent/advisor muppets like Anderson again.

You sound surprised Exiled?! Every single one of our defenders has a rick in them over 90 minutes. -
JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW

The Gallagher chat seems to be getting stronger. I wouldn’t have a problem with him coming in as competition for Graham but you can bet your bottom dollar he’ll be starting out wide. I recall TM doing it with him in our relegation season. Another square peg. -
1 win in 7 now. We need 3 points asap but I fear it promises to be one miserable Christmas.
-
He’s been getting away with it big time from the media regarding Brereton and to a lesser extent, my huge gripe of him playing CF’s and CM’s out wide. Hopefully we can buck the form book but if as expected it’s 1 win in 10 come mid Jan then I can imagine he’ll have to start explaining to blingy if not the media!

Huddersfield and Derby fans both rated him and they were teams fighting for promotion from this league at the time. TM can’t seem to get a tune out of him. One thing I would say in his defence is every time he’s had a half decent performance he’s been benched the next week. Best if he moves on in January. Perhaps Tony may get an actual winger in, but I won’t hold my breathe. -
Said it in the match thread but this CF/CM turned winger sh*te that TM keeps persisting with has to end. Yes Armstrong and Brereton (as an example) are performing very poorly but it can’t be helping being played out of position week in week out. Get some bloody wingers in to play the role of a winger. TM does worry me - not rocket science is it.

Didn’t realise quite how bad our form is - 1 win in 7. With Leeds, Sheff Utd and West Brom to come that could well be 1 in 10. TM could be getting a call from blingy come mid-Jan at this rate. -

Whenever we’ve gone on a bad run, TM tends to throw in a curveball. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them both randomly starting against Leeds along with a farewell performance from Palmer. -

The pressure will start to build big time if as expected we don’t get anything until then. Lambert will have his boys pumped for that one too. -

1-0 FT. Getting sick and fecking tired of this inside forward sh!t TM persists with. Armstrong, Brereton, Reed etc aren’t the bloody answer there Tony. Our home form really is gash despite the lack of losses. Where will our next win come from? Answers on a postcard. -

FFS. Have a feeling we could be having a little look over our shoulder come mid-January. Just not got enough about us as an attacking threat and always susceptible to conceding. -

The Smallwood/Evans axis really does need breaking up in January. So bloody boring and not even effective at keeping us tight defensively which is their only job. Palmer has to be off in Jan - hasn’t started for yonks. I’ll still plump for 2-1 Norwich. -

Think we’ll come unstuck here. Thought they’d perhaps been getting a tad lucky given their team on paper, but I’ve watched them a few times now and they’re a very decent side. Can see us losing 2-1. Like Tomphil says, wouldn’t surprise me to see Rhodes coming off the bench and bagging a late winner. -
76 pages already. How many will we be on when he starts his first league game? Or dare I say it, bags his first goal?

Seems a load of bunkum, but as I’ve posted before they have been heavily watching him: http://www.kumb.com/story.php?id=133103

Talked about ‘home’ alot ie the south. Will take some persuasion I would imagine.

Nuttall’s not going to suddenly come into the side - just can’t see it. If TM isn’t going to feature he nor Travis then get them out to clubs who will actually play them and watch them develop. Travis is too good not to make the #11 of any league one side. -

Do you know what, I did know. Completely forgot we had them in the Cup and thought you were somehow referencing Norwich this coming weekend ?. -

Sunderland Netflix documentary

I’d agree with that having seen the series now. They didn’t elaborate on what, if anything, they were offering Rodwell as a parting deal. Just expecting him to walk away from his £70k pw wages. Who on earth would have done that? The board/owner needed a couple of scapegoats to alleviate their role in this and he seems to be the chief one from the playing side at least. -
Getting fed up with those on here moaning about ‘Ben bashing’ or whatever they’re calling it. It’s been said a million times over already, so it really shouldn’t need saying again, but it’s not what this is about. It’s because we have so many glaring weaknesses in our team that we shouldn’t have shelled out £7 million on potential. That’s the crux of it. If we had a bottomless pit I’m sure we’d all be thrilled with bringing in a young lad who could one day make a name for himself. As it stands, and at no fault of Ben’s, this is looking to be a very baffling and costly signing.
