I’ve had to mute most of our fan base on Twitter as they chat such sh*te. The type that would tuck Balaji back in if they found him in bed with their missus.

I’ve said it before but the only player I have any affinity to is Wharton and the kid can’t ever get a kick. Other than him, sell the bloody lot of the rubber dinghy men. They’re useless.

There’s more chance of me waking up in bed with Megan fox tomorrow than us going up. Therefore I’d start playing our best youngsters - Phillips and Wharton - pretty much every week unless they have me a damn good reason otherwise. I see little to gain now in starting Ayala every week as he’ll be off in the summer, and as for Morton being a shoe in despite his consistent dross (certainly of late), don’t get me started. If ‘increasing value’ is the name of the game, play our bloody better youngsters and stop doing favours to other clubs.

Exactly. We need experience in the middle. Not another young lad, and certainly not one that's not ours. IMO. Time these European scouts started earning their corn.

Would prefer we sign quality rather than numbers (which is what I would guess he's being brought in for). Just another young lad from another club which will block the likes of Morton. Hope I'm wrong, and no I've not seen him Chaddy.

The frustration with Morton for me is IMO he's blocking Wharton's progression with us and I personally don't believe the Liverpool lad to be a better player, which leads me to think that we have an agreement with Liverpool that he must start the majority of matches. If our whole club philosophy is to now increase value in players, then Wharton should be starting (granted with spells out of the 11 given his age).

Ash Phillips named 50th in Four Four Two’s list of best teenagers in the world, whilst Dolan and Adam Wharton both made EFL’s 21 under 21 list. Great recognition for the lads and the club.

To be fair, whilst he’s clearly not at that level, isn’t Giles top of the assists league again? Mowbray’s use of him was criminal.

Morton needs to be sent back along with Hirst. Doing nothing but blocking likes of Wharton from getting game time. Edit: then he plays his first decent forward ball for yonks for the goal 😆.

We’re so sh*te. Just don’t create hardly any real decent chances anymore it would seem (thank God we were putting away every single one we had earlier in the season). You can see why our xg is so low.

The lack of Adam Wharton minutes is starting to seriously p*ss me off.
