  1. Surely Nixon must have got wind of the outcome by now?
  2. We are the gift that keeps on giving. Whenever we play a team who are "winless in X", "haven't scored in X" or "haven't kept a clean sheet in X" then that is the time to "lump up" with the bookies in Mercers terms, as we, without doubt, will help that team out.
  3. You just know he has said "Hirst can go, but you get a replacement in." We haven't (we never do). Like JHR I think he'll walk ala Lambert at the end of the season. He'll have built too much pride during his glittering career to waste years here like Mowbray did.
  4. 100%. I just want something to get behind. If the plan is a reliance on youth, then play Adam Wharton, play Ashley Phillips, play to the player's strengths. Let me try to buy into something. Anything. As it is, we're just feathering other clubs' nests and in general, are just a complete and utter mess - both on and off the pitch.
  5. Think that’s me done for the season, let alone night! I cannot be arsed with any of it anymore. The Venky’s have well and truly sucked every last ounce of being a Rover out of me. There’s just zero fun to be had following any of it.
  6. No ambition on the pitch. No ambition off the pitch.
  7. Another pile of sh*te tonight. So sick and tired of all things Rovers. I’m less enthused by the day.
  8. Sounds like he’ll fit in well here with a record like that…
  9. Couple of thoughts on GB’s interview: - He almost looked tearful. I’m pleased he’s fuming and upset about this. Likewise JDT. - The Brierley one has actually worked out perfectly as he can continue getting minutes in men’s football for six more months. - I hope this has opened GB’s eyes as to how every single aspect at the club needs overhauling. Seems he was reliant on some areas continuing as they were. He was very wrong. - Whilst he is accepting responsibility, I hope the actual culprits (guessing Silvester) are getting a king sized rocket shoved up their arses.
  10. Have we established where Broughton was on deadline day yet? Doesn’t look the most culpable on the face of it but that side of the business still falls under his remit does it not?
  11. Where was Broughton on deadline day then?
  12. Monday live on sky would have been a great opportunity to give our owners (absent, acknowledged, but via the media) and administration both barrels. Never going to happen though is it.
  13. Yep, people seem to be missing this. We fecked up both deals, not just O’Brien. You genuinely couldn’t make up our levels of incompetence.
  14. This is hugely serious for O'Brien as Romano has confirmed Forest are definitely signing Ayew, meaning Lewis O'Brien will not play first team football for six months. Jesus Christ, poor bloody lad. Players, club and agents are gonna avoid us like the plague.
  15. My forever-suffering missus asks me that at least once a week. I find myself struggling more and more to answer.
  16. On one hand I too want some sort of fecking apology from the club via a statement. On the other, what's the point? It'll just be apologetic nonsense, pointing the finger at the big bad EFL which will be swallowed up by Chaddy & co. "We go again in the summer, get behind the lads" bla bla bla b*llocks.
  17. My only prayer is that those t*ssers in India finally do one and take this tin pot administration with them. An utter shambles which continues to disgrace this once proud club.
  18. Absolutely fuming with this and once again despondent with my club. Done with it all; there's never a shred of optimism to cling onto.
  19. "Blocked" is an odd choice of word if it's completely over. If it is over, I wonder if we'll get a club statement, or if they'll just hope the local rag report on it.
  20. They have committed to 24 players and have until 3pm today to submit the full 25 list. They want to register Ayew by the sounds of it. So they're either hopeful about O'Brien moving to us or don't care if he sits on the sidelines for six months.
  21. We need Evangelos Marinakis to throw some £ the EFL's way here.
  22. Probably includes Waggott’s mug stains, but this is progress.
  23. That's the geezer who gets off far too lightly around here. He's the one with the remotest bit of power to create change you would imagine.
  24. Sounds like chelsea sabotaged that one for some unknown reason. Probably too concerned with getting Enzo over the line.
  25. I mean, I don't usually trust Nicko but he'll be bang on here. Forest weren't going to stitch up one of their own players by making him play with the u'23s for six months, plus they've done about 100 deals in the past two windows. Our tin pot administration has struck once again.
