To add on top of the ‘we never get back into matches when falling behind’ fact, we never ever look like getting back into matches either. WTF are we doing just passing it around at the back, and not bringing on our best source of a goal? A very concerning response from JDT again today.

As bad as we are when going behind, we’re pretty much as good when leading. JDT simply has to find a way to get us back into matches. The whole mentality at the club when falling behind is ‘onto the next match’. It’s pitiful.

With no central midfield options on the bench as we’re keen to ensure Wharton is ‘fit for international duty’. WTF

I’ll never believe we’ve turned a true corner as a club until we prove that we can get back into matches from being in a losing position. It genuinely feels like years and years since I’ve had that feeling as a Rover of ‘we can get back into this’. And there we have it 2-0. This second half has been nothing short of embarrassing.

Very impressive last night and eased any potential fears that I had at the back of my mind of us being in any kind of trouble this season. IF we could somehow keep that back three fit for the season then I genuinely think we’d have a sniff of the play-offs. They’re that good. We just need a bit of consistency now with both form and selection.
