He’s been the pick of the bad bunch though - no doubt. I reckon he broke down 4-5 semi decent moves with an atrocious touch.

I personally thought he’s looked like a scared little lamb again.

That’s some advert live on sky for the championship. One of the worst halves of football I’ve ever seen. We’ve had one shot in 45 mins (none on target!) which I assume was Diaz’s cross shot which went miles wide. Dreadful again.

I see JDT is sticking to his guns about playing out from the back, reiterating today about the ‘value’ increase in players who are good ‘on and off the ball’. The poorest bugger in all of this is Ayala. The bloke simply cannot play out from the back yet we’re asking him to be Gerard Pique. I’d get it that little more if we had the players - or he was only playing ones who we can ‘increase value’ in - but it’s suicide trying to play that way with players like Daniel who simply can’t and are the wrong side of 30.

It beggars belief. I said it the other night, but results and performances are secondary at Rovers, and that quote proves it for me.

Agree with most of this but I'd say Morton is a huge step up on 22-23 season Buckley. I still can't get over his performance the other night - first opportunity in weeks which should act as a rocket up the arse and he plays like that.

‘Wow’…If that is Szmodics having a ‘decent game’ Chaddy then I’d hate to see him have a stinker!

Travis for me is becoming a bit of an issue. He seems less mobile than in previous seasons and whilst his footballing ability itself has always been average, he appears to be regressing. He’s unable to run with it and even the ‘simple’ balls are far from simple for him. He has his strengths but in a JDT system he is falling short - big time IMO.
