Yet he is well ahead of Ennis, Telalovic and Leonard. Defenders do not like playing against Gallagher. He’s actually quick. He is very frustrating because i believe he has the physique to be a great player but he lacks aggression and that cannot be taught. Gally with no doubt upgrades our current team. £1.5m will not get you anyone close to Gallagher! That’s the position we are in.

Decent summary and I agree with most of it. I have to disagree with the pace we played the game at however. It was too slow predictable and was walking pace for most of the game, the lack of movement was ridiculous. Our style of play requires non stop movement and options. The times the midfield had to pass it back due to there being no options was outrageous.

The team look knackered! It’s literally walking football for most of the game! Slashing the budget after finishing 7th is criminal. Waggott and Broughton both need potting for me. SW is clueless, the matchday experience is the worst I’ve ever known it. Atmosphere was dead, can’t hear the stadium announcer the TV outside the Blackburn end is a complete embarrassment too. GB is a head teacher trying to play some sort of Euro scouting guru. He’s clueless and is a waste of a wage!

JDT is not the issue, he’s not the finished article either. The blame lies with those above. Venkys have cut us down to the bone and whatever money we have had has been squandered by Broughton! Some proper shite signings that are only on the bench because they have to be! I honestly believe Ennis and Telalovic are the 2 worst strikers in the league. The staff at Brockhall think Telalovic is shocking.

The cost cutting in the summer is costing us. You cannot play in the championship with the squad we have. Telalovic must be dreadful he can’t get a game even though we’ve got strikers who are allergic to goals. Not one player on our bench could come on and improve our team. Massive difference compared to other teams!
