Me too but the TDD debacle has took the shine off it for me, I was expecting a bit of a marquee signing to be honest. Silly me. I've been a supporter long enough now to know the score.

I think the big issue is the fact we haven't strengthened our starting 11. Our squad is very similar to last season's. Are we in a better place than our relegation season? As a club and fanbase yes definitely.....as squad quality goes I'm not too sure. Team spirtit is way better but that can only take you so far.

Yes the loan window is still open but there's no guarantees there either. We have alot of games in August and our squad hasn't been improved since last season, the starting 11 is exactly the same! Disappointing.

With just under 4 hours left..... I'd settle for a decent CF. We need a few more additions but at this stage I think we may be struggling. I will never understand the reason for leaving deals so late but a friend of mine believes it's due to saving 2 months on wages, it sounds crazy but it would definitely explain our scramble every TDD.

A striker obviously has to be the number one target. If Graham got injured on Saturday you wouldn't want to rely on Samuel to get all your goals. I think it will be a loan, i don't believe Charlton will risk losing Bauer for free next summer so there may be a late deal to be done there. I'm not to bothered about things being quiet as every deal so far has been done fairly low-key.
