I’m not sold on Broughton, of camera he comes off very arrogant and to be fair he hasn’t done anything yet for us.

Unbelievable isn’t it? I’d genuinely just let him go now. Lenihan, Rothwell, Nyambe now BBD. How is Waggot still in a job? That’s at least £20m thrown down the drain! 

Does anyone genuinely believe that this current squad will end up in the play offs? We need to add quality and again it’s looking like GB and SW are failing! 
 

it is so frustrating seeing the blatantly obvious seemingly being ignored. Our scouts honestly must be shocking. There is no imagination with any player we get linked with, the only players that weren’t previously known were Mola and  Zeefuik and they are shite.

The only names currently linked that will improve our first XI are Undav and O’brien and I’m not too sure O’brien has actually been linked.

We don’t need another GK and a centre Half is well down the priority list. When is this scouting network going to reveal its worth? All the decent signings recently have been known players at this level. 
 

I expected us to be pulling gems from Scandinavia with Broughton as DoF but it has all been pretty underwhelming to be honest.

I think this game is a big game in our season. If we lose I think the play offs will be too hard to achieve. It doesn’t look like the support is coming in terms of signings.

Maybe the post Xmas failures weren’t a TM issue?

Down to 6th at the minute! If we are serious about the playoffs surely we need to get a couple decent additions in ASAP.

Not sure we will deal with a new year capitulation too well again this time around!

If we don’t sign a central striker and a midfielder we will slowly slide down and stay 12th in the table.

So what you’re saying is he’s basically Haaland? 

I was impressed by what Gregg had to say when he first arrived but I have been a bit disappointed since. Not only has he been silent but our signings have been predictable, by that I mean there hasn’t been much exaggeration.

He’s in a predicament now where if we l  lose BBD and  don’t get 4/5 quality players in, he can only be looked at as a failure.

Hope I’m wrong and he has some surprises up his sleeve…….I’m not sure.

Serious potential in that team. If you were to add VanHecke in aswell then it would be impossible to not be hopeful about our chances this season. Would still be serious questions about the squad depth though 

Amen to that, a couple savvy signings and we look a total different prospect. We looked good today but very vulnerable to injuries.

if we could realistically get Bowler, Styles and striker who holds the ball up we would be a sexy outfit! 

Apologies if it’s been mentioned on any thread but Dack was warming up in front of us today and there is definitely a rift. He ignored the fans and had the monk on all game. He wasn’t his usual bubbly self.

it was odd to see. I was told last week he wasn’t injured but had fallen out with JDT about his work rate and told he’d have to change to be in his team……..anyone else heard anything?

Chaddy if you can’t see the point in comparing our position to other similar local clubs I’m not even going to bother trying to explain but I’ll start a list.

I think we were 4 or 5 players short at the back end of last season and we are horrendously short now! Dangerous game but let’s see if we can pick a couple points up through August?!

I’ve got to agree, he came in talking the talk and been absolutely terrible. You simply cannot lose 6/7 first teamers and not replace them before the season starts.

I hate the fact Ewood won’t be bouncing tomorrow. You look at Preston and Burnley and they’ve smashed ST sales. I wouldn’t say either are expecting exceptional seasons  but with a few clever ideas they’ve bonded the fan bases and ST sales have been exceptional.

I am terrified we are going in to the new season with one signing! With Lenihan, Rothwell and Nyambe all gone we are very light not only in numbers but quality too.

This team capitulated last season and it was because we didn’t strengthen in January. We are now amazingly weaker.

I thought the appointment of GB would improve our poor transfer record……Seems to have got worse! 😂

Of course there’s always a chance of attention seeking? We’ll see, we certainly need 5 + just to be on similar ground as last season.

Getting beyond a joke now! Less than 2 weeks away from the big kick off and our squad I’d wafer thin. 
 

Any injuries in the 1st games and we are looking at the academy to step up straight away. It’s a dangerous game to play.

Can we set an official “Panic date”?

This date can be used to activate complete panic should we not have signing by said date!! 😆 I don’t think it should be too far off in all honesty!
