Ellen White would get in our starting 11.

Our Deja vu transfer windows continue….
“Transfers due next week” “Blackburn target signs for rival” 😂😂
”Blackburn look to loans” 👀
I’m hoping this year is different and the signings have been kept quiet, vey strange there hasn’t been many rumblings either.
-
I’m not quite panicking yet but the fact teams that finished around us have moved fast and made some decent signings leaves us behind slightly.
Boro, WBA, Bristol City and even Millwall have been active and signed some good players. GB certainly talked the talk, I’m hoping his actions match.

Where the hell has all this hate for Pickering come from? Before his injury he was one of our better performers. He came back in to a struggling team and wasn’t exactly awful.
Theres 6 or 7 areas that need looking at before LB.

Cantwell is playing for an admittedly second string Norwich side tonight. I can't see that move happening at all and certainly it doesn't seem imminent.
A few close to the club believe it’s happening, I’m not sure it can happen within our pay structure. What happened to him? He was catching the eye of the top prem teams only 2 years ago.

Our DOF has already spoken about using loan players as a stop gap until academy players are ready - which I think is the right approach (depending on quality and cost of loans).
Also - sending out this message about fast track will hopefully persuade some of our more sought after youngsters to stay longer - as well as helping to sell the academy to other youngsters.
Our DOF also said we have a healthy budget. If that does not come to fruition it doesn’t reflect very well on someone who’s been in the role a month.
The Championship is a cut throat league and teams can easily go from promotion contenders to relegation candidates with poor recruitment.
It is essential we replace Lenihan, nyambe and Rothwell with equal quality.

Another day passes, another day the transfer thread gets filled with Tony Mowbray memories and released players.
it’s all part of the process. 😂

We need a new thread for out of contract players. Or the Lenihan/Nyambe/Rothwell thread.

100 pages in and we must be 10-15 pages since an actual players name has been mentioned. 😂
You know it’s bad when we’re still talking about players who have left in a transfer thread. I understand it’s been all change but it Has to be a busy few weeks ahead or we go in to a championship campaign with an extremely weak and inexperienced playing squad.

Rovers having problems with getting Ronny’s current club New York & fighting it out with Standard …
The US club are not happy with him and are refusing to sanction his release …
Standard Also took their DOF and they have refused to sign his release for the next 3 months …that’s their minimum notice order for all their staff……so he’s snookered as well…….
work Permit would also be an issue for Ronny ……. Another delay which Rovers can’t afford ……
I’m not keen on Deila at all. Not sure why he’s the one they are prepared to go the extra mile for.

This is turning in to a south park episode from years ago. They had to choose between a Turd sandwich and a Giant Douche to become the schools new mascot! 😂🙈

Is Warne really the best we can do?
I mean “50 serious applicants” and he’s the best option.
What even is a Waggot?

I'm worried.
But I do think most managers linked will be an upgrade on Mowbray.
I have to agree my fellow Clitheronian. A manager with a bit of passion and tactical nouse could get this club bouncing.

You think what you like.
Firstly, Unsworth has to be offered a job somewhere as a manager!
Secondly, I know of a former member of Rovers' coaching staff who is quite keen to return to the club should Ferguson get the gig.
Would this be a certain Mr Short by any chance?

We have missed out 3 people I thought could have took us to that next level in Daniel Farke, Carlos Carvalhal and Neil Critchley. Plus Michael Beale aswell.
So where we do now? how many candidates have we actually interview and we is Pasha and Waggott struggling to pick a first choice or someone to recommend to the owners to appoint.
I don't see clear and obvious choice out there to appoint.
Woodgate is a guess from me and nothing more. I'm hopeful an appointment will be made before the weekend(11/12th of June) since the players return on the 13th June with no fitness coaches at the club and no head of medicine services. So we can appoint people to these roles.
No not any coach can do, That why you employed specialise coaches to do it or proper trained and qualified physios.
We haven't had personal in those positions for years so why have each of the 3 people got to PL clubs or one of the top clubs in Germany.
Head of Medicine services Andy Mitchell left us for Red Bull Leipzig.
Our Lead Athletic Performance Coach Liam Mason left for the role on Newcastle fitness staff
Our number 2 athletic performance coach Jack Dowling left for a similar at Everton
No I wouldn't think mad or angry or anything like that about it. What good would it do anyway?
Whoever we appoint I want to the reason why we appoint this candidate and what make him the right choice.
where has his name came from?
He is the director of football who was at Leicester and Everton.
You 100% never heard of Michael Beale prior to last week.

Rovers budget this summer is £1.6m this includes wages and transfer fees! No manager in their right mind would take that on.
That would mean signing 2 freebies on 15k a week! 🙈 Obviously this hopefully changes if there’s player sales.
-
Pardew or Adkins will kill the ST sales, they will be horrendous. They are in the same mould as Mowbray.https://media3.giphy.com/media/l36kU80xPf0ojG0Erg/200.gif

Does anyone genuinely have any idea what is going on? 😂 you can include the Board in that question too.
it’s very rare betting firms are a mile off but with us it’s a constant debacle. We should be approaching decent standard managers no sticking them in a pool with other washed up dross.
Have a bit of ambition and nail down a top coach. I’m hearing that the club have freed up £1.6m for the season ahead…..more worryingly this includes wages.
-
Pretty much getting to the stage I expected. 😂
The managers worth getting slowly dwindle and we end up going with someone cheap and cheerful. The owners have a great opportunity to send a message to the fans by installing a decent manager…..this would in turn increase ST sales and optimism for the upcoming season.
We shall wait and see.

I just hope Mowbray is sat at home with his gurner on his chest! He should be realising his stubbornness and failure to do what was basic football principals cost him glory and his team promotion! He will forever regret his attitude and failure to heed advice because of his big fat smoggy head🤬🤬🤬
Watching the PO final has made me angry again. I don’t believe Forest are any better than us and Huddersfield certainly aren’t.
they’ve both had managers that are tactically savvy and they’ve won/drawn games where they should have dropped points.
What a waste of a season.
I am Hoping a a new manager brings fresh hope.
Does anyone actually have the 8 names without educated guesswork? This appointment is huge, like a lot of clubs we are one bad appointment away from a championship struggle.

Brad Friedel DOF with Farke/Carvahal/Ainsworth as manager.
100% from my mind with zero sources……wouldn’t be the worst set up. 👀

Please can someone go on Twitter and make up a random rumour. Least then I can waste time watching YouTube videos and trying to squeeze them in to our starting 11. 😂
I’m bored of trying to figure out how we haven’t signed anyone yet!
