People can only stay positive for so long mate. You get bombarded with negativity day after day and eventually even the positive things are just footnotes on an overall negative page. I wouldn't begrudge anybody taking some pleasure out of last night's result, absolutely not. But at the same time those who can't feel anything positive about the club right now are totally right to feel that way as well. When you consider the bigger picture, it's difficult to find much joy in winning a single match, whether it is a big step towards survival or not. The only way to move forward as a united fanbase in a positive fashion, IMO, is for Venky's, Agnew, Shaw and Shebby to leave the club and never make themselves heard from again. Until that happens a dark cloud will hang over Ewood - and to be honest, I fear the club will soon be eradicated entirely should Venky's stay much longer. That fear casts a long shadow over pretty much everything else happening at the club, from the games themselves to the interaction between the fans both on match day and in general.

Hmmm. Not sure about this. I mean, yes, we are awful, agreed. But "for years now" ? We've been awful essentially since Venky's/Kean took over, which is just over 2 years. Before then we were just fine. The decline of the club has been extremely rapid. Also, I'm not sure it's right to be "happy" about scraping survival in the Championship. Relieved, sure, but happy? Up until a couple of months ago we were still eyeing the playoffs! It should never have got to this point and it's quite embarrassing that it has.

An absolutely crucial win, especially considering the results elsewhere. Looks like this season will break records for relegation in terms of points - whoever goes down will be somewhat unlucky in that regard. Looks like Bowyer may get to finish the revival job he started in January. My mood is soured by the revelation T4E is mates with Jerome Anderson though. Why, pal, why?

Nonsense. Replace that crowd with a normal Raw crowd and you have a very standard show. What about this Raw - crowd aside - was so amazing or different? The crowd made this show, the writing didn't, and next week it simply won't be the same. Dolph cashing in was the only notable high point but now that's done, he'll move into a standard fairly boring feud of some sort. Welcome to the modern WWE. They haven't created a star since John Cena and aren't trying to. The characters are mostly boring and the matches are usually pretty lacklustre too.

My sincere condolences, I always had time for his posts and found him a thoroughly likeable poster.

Looks like WM was pretty disappointing. Taker/Punk looked good, HHH/Lesnar decent. The rest...not so much. The ending of Cena/Rock looks cringeworthy, and Cena yelling "THE CHAMP IS HERE" to end the biggest PPV in 2013 the same way WWE ended most PPVs in 2007 is just sad. About time people turned away from WWE and started watching the alternative - TNA. Then maybe Vince would get the kick up the arse required to shake the company out of its decline.

Tugay- best rovers midfield ever

As someone said in the March review thread, if Toogs had scored some of those goals for a team like United, Chelsea or Arsenal we'd still be hearing about them today. We were privileged to have had him at the club for so long. -
Yeah, he's not old enough yet to be without any physical power, but you wouldn't want to see him wrestle any more. He's always been charismatic on the mic, and Sting bounces well off him in a similar kind of role, but with a bit more active participation. Sting still looks decent in the ring though so it's fine. I can't recommend TNA enough at the moment. It's light-years ahead of WWE in terms of entertainment for me. I genuinely think if more people knew about TNA it would be a proper competitor. Hopefully going on the road will give them the boost they need.
