  1. I guess it was the temporary kit came unbranded and not the kit that we we actually use next season.
  2. I would guess that Macron probably have blue and white striped teamwear kits available as it's a very common design, whereas they may not make blue and white halved teamwear kits.
  3. It seems that the keeper kit is the new one as it appears to be the same design as the one Lazio just revealed with their new kits.
  4. Millwall, who are also with Macron, used their training kit for their match today. I believe that Macron manufacture the shirts in Italy so the delay is probably down to Covid.
  5. Sheffield Wednesday, who also announced a deal with Macron, are using temporary kits too.
  6. Given that they appointed Silva earlier today, I would say that's very unlilkely. 😉 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/57677125
  7. From that I would guess it will either be red and black halves, black with thin red stripes, yellow with blue pin stripes, or all yellow with a blue collar and a little bit of blue trim.
  8. The only way I can access the new site is if I use Opera and use it's inbuilt VPN. I've tried clearing cookies and cache on both my computer and my phone, but I always get the old site.
  9. The Ribble Valley BC thing is ineptitude by the club, that is something I can fully agree on. The rest I can't agree with as a time and date for such announcements would be agreed on in advance. If a website admin for the other party involved mistakingly puts something up too early, then that is the fault of the website admin, and only the website admin, and will be a breach of contract by said party involved, which in this case is Macron, who probably wouldn't be happy either. No major harm has been caused because of it, in fact the only company that may be disappointed by it would be Umbro as we still have a contract with them until June 30th. Plenty of new kit deals for other clubs have already been leaked with no official annoucement having been made yet such as Newcastle and Wolves moving to Castore. Last year, Leeds deal with Adidas and the kits they would be using were leaked before an official annoucement was made. Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool have their kits leaked months in advance every single season. In fact Liverpool's home kit for the 22/23 season has already been leaked, as have the Nike kits for a number of the major clubs they have contracts with.
  10. But they didn't officially annouce it then. The club badge was put up on a page that could only be found by clicking on a link at the bottom of the homepage. They put up a news article on their site yesterday to announce the deal. Macron probably weren't even aware themselves (apart from the person that uploaded it to the site) that the badge had been put up until it was found by a fan looking for the slighest bit of evidence that they were our new kit manufacturer. The club can't control what happens on other companies sites. They would have had an agreement of when to announce the deal and would fully expect the other party involved to stick to the date and time agreed.
  11. But both parties have to be in agreement of when to announce it. The club couldn't announce it before without their approval. Macron put the announcement up on their Twitter account shortly after Rovers did. The fault lies with whoever updates the Macron website, just like when Umbro accidently put the new away kit up early on their a few seasons back (although that could only be found by changing the URL). We're not the first club it's happened to and we won't be the last. Some of the biggest clubs in the world had their shirts leaked months ago, with some already on sale in major sports shops in Australia and other parts of the world, despite the fact the clubs haven't actually revealed them themselves. This isn't a one off either, it happens pretty much every season.
  12. I'd imagine it wasn't meant to be put on there yet but whoever is in control of updating the site accidently did it early. If that hadn't been done, the announcement possibly wouldn't have been made until closer to the time the deal was due to start.
  13. The deal doesn't start until July 1st so I doubt will see anything until then, or maybe just before. I doubt the club have even recieved the shirts yet. The majority of clubs announce new kit deals before showing off the new kit, possibly due to breaking existing contractual agreements with the current manufacturer, so we're not alone in that regard.
  14. But we don't buy them from Macron. They pay us and provide us with the kit. Macron have quite clearly offered the best deal in terms of money and being able to produce what we want on our kits, such as halves on the back.
  15. Macron are execllent for remaking classic kits so we could wel see something very similar to the 94/95 home shirt design somewhere down the line. They recently released a 120th Anniversary kit for Sampdoria which was based on their shirt in 1900.
  16. The Umbro deal will more than likely end on May 31st. It's possible that the deal with Macron, if it is them, could be announced before then.
  17. The best result would be Sheff Wed to beat Derby comfortably and then Rotherham to score a stoppage time winner to send both Derby and Sheff Wed down.
  18. Lancs Live are purely going by what was posted on here, and have no information other than that.
  19. You do realise they aren't the actual kits? Macron have improved a lot in recent years and they actually put thought into their designs. If you want no thought process into design, plain backed shirts, and the exact same away kit design as every other Adidas sponsored team in the country that isn't Man Utd or Arsenal, then Adidas are definitely the way to go.
  20. The shirts we voted for were never released as they were Lonsdale designs. Umbro took over making the kits but chose to keep with the red and black halves for the away kit as that what was voted for. I think most kit manufacturers tend to stay away from kit votes as it leads to knock-off's being made before the real one is released, which is why kit votes only tend to happen for clubs in League One or below as knock-off's are much less likely to be made.
  21. It's incredible that Nyambe has already recovered from his season ending hamstring injury. Maybe Mowbray is annoyed that he isn't injured and is now going to do his best to correct that.
  22. Bennett will start the next game whatever the result (unless he gets injured or sent off). Even if he makes a mistake that leads to a Barnsley goal, he won't be blamed for it, someone else will be.
