Anyone is better than coyle. I'm not overwhelmed by the appointment but having coyles bs out the door can only be a good thing. If you would of asked last week I think nearly everyone would of swapped mowbray for coyle. However their was still better alternative managers available. I'm extremely worried by the fact he has come in as a head coach which is basically working with the players on a day to day basis and getting ready for match day, which leaves dodgy bullshiiter Paul senior to play puppet master and recruit who he likes with the backing of venkys as well as take care of contractual obligations. I don't think the storm has even peaked yet. Testing times ahead.
If I'm right I'm sure I watched that game were he played for England. Came off the bench and scored with his first touch. I saw him play a few times later on for the u23s and agree with parsons . Never going to make it. To much to young or simply not good enough ?
Graham. Good
Gallagher. Exceptional. Easy good enough for lower end prem team.
Hoban. Decent.
Williams. Realiable, relatively consistent.
Emnes. Showed promise, decent squad player
Greer. Past it
Mulgrew. Most composed and intelligent player by a mile but constantly injured.
Feeney. Average league 1 player at best.
Stokes. Absolute joke signing. Three year contract and massive wages for someone who is fit and doesn't play. Can't judge his actual play as he's never had a run in the team. Surly down to his attitude and mentality for reasons stated above.
Byrne, Samuelson. Never got a sniff
Hendrie. Looked way out of his depth
I agree on mansell on and the overall lack of quality up top coming through. Had high hopes for rittenberg a year or two back but seems to have regressed . Tanner was another player being tipped for big things. Admittedly only seen him play twice and didn't stand out. Not seen anything of the kids since they moved from the sports village. Miss it alot. Loved going there so these posts are of high interest to me, so thanks lads
Couldn't agree more. I never get bored of listening to united fans moaning about there decline. They have no idea what it's like for true fans of proper teams who struggle season after season which makes it all the more enjoyable when they consistently fail to deliver and to lose to Liverpool would be the icing on the cake of an awful season. Great test for spurs and the young English lads before the euros. Always want English teams to do well and win in Europe but united I always feel an overwhelming sense of shame if I watch them in Europe and attempt to support them so that draw has eliminated that for me.
Well spurs drew Dortmund and United Drew Liverpool. Think Liverpool should have enough see united off over two legs. Spurs and Dortmund will be a fascinating watch. I think Dortmund will win over two legs but will be close. Either way two great ties I will look forward to seeing. Aubameyang is some player. Seen him in the bundesliga 5-6 times this season and has been fantastic. Be surprised if he isn't playing in the premiership or with one of the European big boys next season
