I would be more confident of Eustace picking up enough points here and there to keep us up. I think JDT was a zealot wedded to a style that was not going to work with a view of receiving a better job offer, which he eventually got. Sorry but if you spend less than 10% of what you received, being on the same points as the previous season is a success sort of. I think the difference between JDT and Eustace is the the latter is more pragmatic and has set up a team to snatch points here and there to keep us safe (only just). JDT didn't give a fuck about us and was playing a style of play that was there to get him a better job. Just like Kompany did with Burnley last year. Truth is it worked for both of them.
