So bitterly disappointing to have the wheels coming off this season when you think 2 weeks ago we were on such a high.

Has Dan Butterworth done anything on his loan? Not heard a peep - totally forgot about him.

Subs lost us that unfortunately.
Beyond gutted. Still proud. This one hurts

Damn.
Momentum with them now

The winner of the FA Cup goes straight into the Europa League group stages. We would also play the Premier League champions at Wembley for the Community Shield
But there’s a long way to go yet…😂
Dare to dream!!

Does the winner of the FA cup still get a spot in Europe?
Assuming if we got there we would play a prem team likely already in Europe….
Are we all off to Salzburg again?!?!

Biggest game we have had for a long long time. What an achievement it would be to reach the semi final.
From a financial perspective this is also massive.
Obviously wish we were playing this at Ewood but we do seem to have the form at the moment, including recently beating them. The win last night was massive as it a) provides momentum and confidence b) takes the pressure off a bit
I imagine he will go with the team that started last night, hard to argue for any changes with perhaps Dolan being unlucky.
Fantastic effort for us to sell so many tickets.
On the cusp of something really special, its nice to have some pride in the team again. Let's hope the story continues and the players give it their all. Could go a long way to announcing Rovers are back!

I would put JRC in there and play Brittain at RB.
Hopefully the players who could get that spot see the opportunity to get a run, put a shift in and grasp it

O'brien would have been nice

Give him the freedom of the town, a new contract and anything he wants.

We're looked a more harder side since Thomas joined....
He’s been a superb signing.
Huge effort closing down and quality on the ball.
Annoyed Warnock too. Beautiful.

Fucking grind this out and it's a massive massive result.
Exactly what we did.
Sensational!

Good game to watch and a brilliant goal.
Smozdics playing well. Buckley a mixed bag, great pass but looks off the pace.
Sheff Utd dominating the middle of the pitch and creating too many chances.
Come on Rovers!

Unfortunate and deflating, though not unexpected, news after the high of last night.
Only good thing to come of this is a realisation we are utterly shambolic and dysfunctional behind the scenes and change is made.
O’brien is a quality player who would have made a big difference….in January. It’s now March. I feel for the lad though.
Bigger concern is the potential impact on JDT and if he moves on at the end of the season.

What a performance that was. Extremely proud to be a Rovers fan.
JDT - give him what he wants! Building something special.
Thought Dolan was excellent. Defence all good. Pears again.
Best night as a rovers fan in a long time.
Whiskey on a Tuesday? Go on then!!

Cracking cup tie.

Looks as though a plan B supported by forest already in the works.
Why is this taking so long to draw a line under it?

Dan Butterworth missed a penalty against Accy Stanley tonight.
He is never going to make it. 2 goals in 19 matches in league 1.
Mowbray rated him I think.

Zero chance

Will they give him respect due to his history in the game?
Doubt it. Their respect for the clubs history is in the toilet.
You can argue they already haven't. That I find very frustrating - attracting people of his calibre to the club was hard enough, after this I imagine impossible.

I can see the following happen:
1. He walks into a European job at the end of the season. Reputation intact, can point the finger at the failings of the club and broken promises
or...
2. He gives the club an ultimatum to either make the necessary investment (players, pitch etc). I think we know how that will go.
Clutching at straws but if anything good can come of this utter cluster **** it could be that the owners/cub finally do get pushed into action.
-
Just checked, he signed a 3 year contract and I can’t imagine he is earning pittance.
Would be a big call to walk. That said, he’s a winner, he has standards. He has said it plenty of times, the club and those responsible for transfers ballsed up.
Guess we will see how principled he is. Doubt he needs the cash.
I just find it all very sad. Very very sad. After all the excitement at the start of the season we are once again a mess.

One of the very few interesting things that happened in the game- JRC coming inside and playing centrally seemed like an interesting proposition...... One to think about.
JDT sounding very unhappy in his interview with the board. I wouldn't be surprised if he walked you know.
Yep, I reckon he’s off.

Pears/ Kaminski.. summer plans?

Kaminski should start, from tomorrow.
Pears has done a good job but in my opinion, Kaminski is a better goalkeeper and has been over a longer period. Has better pedigree too when we come to flog him.
