We’re going for it. 4 attacking players in up top and Wharton in middle. Not a lot of choices but Was concerned we’d play a back 5.

Wish the best for the lad. Played an important role for us providing depth and minutes while Wharton matured. Not sure I’d call it as successful as JDT, but we’ve certainly loaned worse. “He was for sure the best player at the time, and the best player if you look at the training and performance, he’s been excellent for Rovers. You can’t expect more from a young boy where he’s touching the ball a lot, so it’s been a good loan for him and a good loan for Rovers as well”

Feel he played sone decent balls into the box in the first 20 min…but it’s really a wasted skill with our attacking players.

Morton had to come off he was limping. But my god S Wharton has come on in a few matches now and just looked out of sorts. He’s well beaten for that own goal. absolutely gutted!

Another half with nay a shot on target. The entire attack has been poor but special standouts to Dolan and Travis. Diaz has to come on. As poor form as he’s been in, I’d still fancy him scoring before anyone else up top.

Diaz on for Dolan at half. Play him through the center

Playing aside Wharton only highlights how poor he is in possession.

Starting to think we should play Wharton at CF.
