I like the signing. Hopefully we will have someone that can hold on to the ball and lift the team. We give the ball away to easy so far this season. If I don't remember wrong he is also very good on freekicks. Maybe we can get more out of that and all the wasted corners.

Pedersen and De Pedro will be in the club for some time. I can't say the same for Djorkaef. I think it will be a good short term signing, but in the long run (next 2 years at least) I believe we have to depend on Pedersen and De Pedro.

With Jansen's poor game I would liked to see MGP on in the second half. Tugay looked poor and when he goot the yellow card right before the end, only played about 20 min it looked like he was about to have a heart attack. Tugay have played alot of good games for us, but now I think he is over the hill. Give the young a chance.

Another defeat! Looking at the positive sides of the game, we where the best team. Second half possession was around 65% to us so there is no dough who was controlling the game. Attempts on goal we where the best side as well. On Charltons goal we where unlucky. Friedel could have taken it, but unfortunately it went through his legs. In the first half we played a lot of long balls, that didn’t work. Especially the ones delivered by Gray. In the second half we played more along the ground and this worked better. Don’t think we have the right players to play long balls. Bothroyd and Tugay came in as subs and didn’t bring anything to the game. Jansen on the left side had a poor game and should have been substituted by Pedersen. Stead showed some of his potential. And we should have got a penalty. How the ref didn't see that I can't understand. A step up from the Newcastle game, but still a defeat.

Let's hope for some improvement from the last game and that lady luck will be on our side for a change. We will win 1-0 on a penalty from Pedersen in the second half.

In an intervju today MGP said that the have ben more system in the way Blackburn train now and that this was good. He had not had any long talks with Hughes, but he liked him as a manager. He also said that he had developed a good relationship with Ed Niedzwiecki. I guess the FA cup is more important then the carling cup, but still losing to Bournemouth does not look good. Good to see MGP score. Hope that will lift his game in the next match. We need that.

What about getting kids from the Asian community to play for Rovers in the different age groups. They and there parents will then feel like there a part of Rovers community and hopefully want to see some games to. In some years time we might have a local star player with an asian background and that will pull some asians to the games.

How is it possible that Liverpool have played one less game then the other teams that have been in the premiership since 92 ??

According to Norwegian newspapirs Hughsey have introduced icebath after all games. Hughseybelieves this helps the players get faster into shape for the next match. Let's hope he is right.

Did not see the game, but from what I have heard we had about 15 corner kicks in todays game without really anything out of them. I saw the Newcastle game and the corners in that game was bad. Don't we train corner kicks? It should be a great goal scoring situation.

No new interviews as know about, but tomorrow is friday so there is a good chance that there will be one on Pedersen and what he thinks of the new manager.

Not my first choice as the new manager, but I think it might be what Rovers need. Hughes have shown that he can make players work as a team with high working moral. That's what I think have been missing for some time now. Players should not just wear the shirt they should bleed for it aswell. BBC reports that Hughes might bring with him Mark Bowen. Anyone know if his did well as a first team coach in Birmingham?

He did well against manyoo and i don't think any played well vs newcastle. At least give the guy 5 or 6 games before you send him packing, he is a good player! I'm sure he will be, though I thought he was awful against ManU. Getting an assist against the "biggest" club in the world after half a training sessions isnt that bad. If taking a throw in and hurling the ball into the box constitutes an 'assist' I'm claiming one for singing during the game. The ball came from Pedersen so he should be credited by an assist. I believe he has been aswell. It was his long throw that made the goal possible. Hope for more of that in the future, and that Pedersen does better than he did against Newcastle.

I agree. The fact that he has only had trained with his team mates three times has a big inpact on his game. Another point is that his been away to Italy and Norway to play two games. There again they use him in another role. Not the easiest start I will say. Give him some games and he will do better. In a year or two he might be the big star.

The corners today was bad. Didn't seem like there was any plan behaind any of them. If I remember right, Rovers used to score a lot of goals on corners. I would think MGP should take some. He has a great left foot. Just need some time to get into the pace of the game.

Just got home from the game. An awful game it was. Don't understand the tactic on corners, The corner kick was to long and high every time. And where was the left side. MGP was bad the times he got the ball, but that wasn't very ofthen.

MGP said in today that he would be in the starting line up tomorrow. He also added that he thinks Tony Parkes is a nice guy.
