Think it was as clear as day from very early on that Brereton and Gallagher were two expensive duds.

IMO, the signing of Brereton alone was a sackable offence.

Okay, but please can you stop predicting we are going to thrash everyone, every fucking week. Your posts are contradicting, and its more annoying than mowbray.

TM: "That first half I don’t think I’ve seen anything like that for two-and-a-half years from a team that I’ve put out on the pitch for Blackburn Rovers."

“There was a lack of fight in the first half and that’s not something I’ve been able to label at this team for a long, long time. That has to change very quickly.”

“There was a lack of recognition in what type of game it was first half. The team needed shaking up and I thought we did that second half, we were more recognisable.”

Well its something ive seen on a consistent basis. Fuck off tony.

Playing the race card now. I think that’s an absolutely outrageous claim personally! Saying your fellow supporters are racist ? A lot of people have rightly taken offence at this tweet... Jason Lowe and Keith Andrews, that’s all that needs to be said on that utterly mental tweet. Think Jim is losing his marbles!

What a load of crap, doesn't he post crap on here as well? Was it him who was offended by the word 'Pal' if so, this doesn't surprise me.

Cracking for a few ales too.

One stop on the train from Blackburn station.

We sold out with weeks to go last season, could easily have flogged 7k. This season it will probably be 3k (max).

As soon as our form started nosediving I could see this occurring.

There is a lot of people I know, who say that this game just doesn't interest them, me included. Just never got the buzz for this fixture and notoriously, Rovers fans will vote with their feet if they aren't happy, more than a lot of other clubs fans do.

As been said many times Blackburn is a small town surrounded by lots of other clubs, some of them huge clubs. Bournemouth don't have this situation, Burnley survive due to dyche.

Do you really want to spend every other week getting hammered with a full darwen end singing your support is rubbish?

    Not for me thanks.

Another strange comment, I presume you didn't attend Ewood in those premiership years. The atmosphere at ewood was rocking on occasions, a lot of opposition managers and pundits said it was one of the hardest away games for the big teams.

How is that provocative? I am a fan bit I don't live in Blackburn. If someone asks me who I support and I say rovers, they won't have a clue who I'm on about.

It's a strange comment, because Rovers held their own for 17 years out of the first 19 years of the Premiership. 11 of those years being years without Uncle Jack.

So ping them in low then. You are allowed to do that. Not every cross has to be head high. How many times have you seen a ball driven hard across the edge of the six yard boxe create havoc and a few own goals ?

Zero from rovers, we dont do crosses. We do sideways and backwards.

I would never have appointed Mowbray in the first place.

Since his appointment, I have consistently flagged my concerns about his abilities.  I cannot see a single strength in his management.

Mowbray, Venus, Lowe and Benson all, IMO, need clearing out.

IMO, we owe Mowbray nothing - we rescued him from football's scrap heap and no doubt he has been handsomely rewarded and probably set up financially for life.

I think Huddersfield have made a great appointment in Danny Cowley and he has started to turn them around.  Hungry, talented young managers are out there and we need to find one.

You also touted us to win every game 4-0, so that doesnt really back your argument of saying you dont rate the manager, though i agree, neither do i.

Worst performance of the season ...looks like some of the players are not happy either Dack was certainly not happy after the game ended.

Lucky you if you think that was the worst performance of the season, weve been pathetic in most games this season, luton was woeful, WBA was bad, charlton was inept. Today was similar to all them mentioned and all the other woeful games, but it seemed worse as the opposition took more advantage, this would happen every week if the opposition played with more aggresion.

  10. All very predictable. Not that bothered about the defeat or the manner of it because i expected it, you all did subconsiously.

Same mistakes, same woeful tactics, same gaping holes, same heads down mentality, same lack of spark, same pack of leadership.

I'm sure it was sold out with a week to go last season.

One thing is for sure they will be up fired up for the win.

Yes it was nearly 2 weeks before, and one of the worst performances i've ever seen from a Rovers side followed. Never really got the buzz for this fixture, for me it's just Burnley and that's it, all the other 'derbies' Bolton, Preston, Wigan etc are just another game for me, I've got fed up of going to any of them away from home, I prefer travelling a bit further for away games these days.

Another thing: we really need new supporter ‘anthems’. Are there really no creative minds left any more?

As soon as we scored we had the ridiculous Burnley songs, straight out of the BBE mouths. As soon as we conceded - while still chanting about Burnley - even more Burnley-hating songs.

We are absolutely obsessed - it’s embarrassing. Then the same folk say “back the lads”. I get that you want to generate some noise/passion but surely we can sing about Rovers and not that lot?

    100%. Away games there is far more songs about us. I made up a few and have got them going away from home, but at Ewood nobody will join in. Couple of example songs I came up with;

To the tune of - The Four Seasons (oh what a night)

    Late in May 1995
Redknapp scored but the Mancs still cried
I remember what a night, oh what a night
Oh what a night, oh what a night,
    1,2,3,4,5 repeat

simple but a great little song

Then a longer one to the tune of only fools and horses

He puts his tactics in his pocket
Venus is his right hand man
Cause if you want the best uns and you dont ask questions
    then Tony he's your man
Cause where it call comes from is a mystery
He gets Dacky for a bargain, Lewis Holtby on a free
But heres the one that's driving me to smile
It's soldiers and it's artists that's just Tonys style
    tra la la la la

To the allez allez allez tune:

    We've conquered all of England
    95 we didn't stop
From the north to the South
    We won the fooking lot
    Jack Walker and King Kenny
    And shearers golden balls
    Super atko in the middle
    Timmy flowers in the goals
    allez allez allez

    We've conquered all of England
    95 we didn't stop
From the north to the South
    We won the fooking lot
    But now it's all changed
But we are all still here
    Cause we are loyal supporters
    and we come from Lancashire
    allez allez allez

Had father in laws ST on weekend, got a buzz going down for first time in ages went in ewood working mens club all good. Then got on the ground no atmosphere, awful football and all round depressing place. The football i would accept if we hadnt spent a decent amount of money.

I count four, at most. What am I missing?

Gallagher and armstrong arent wingers, bennett isnt a righ back, downing isnt a central midfielder (unless youre tugay you need an engine in the middle). So id agree 4. Although i think its still debateable as to whether lenihan and williams are proper centre backs, but their all weve got.
