Hes a long way from Joe Hart yet. A very long way.

Like i said, hes going down that road, hes just turned onto the junction, still got a few sets of lights to go through yet. Hes always got a calamity in him. Although hes obviously premiership quality, unlike our Chrissy, in fact unlike our entire squad.

No, but they coincided with the loss of Lenihan. What this really tells us is that we don’t have the right quality behind our best players to continue winning.

Lenihan is nothing special, I think at times he is as woeful as some as the other centre halves, Tosin is a complete different class in comparison to any other centre half we have. I accept Lenihan is probably being made to look slightly shitter, because the manager is asking them to play it out from the back, but the only player who can do that is Tosin.

Gallagher is useless. Two league goals is pathetic for any striker who has played as much as him and who is undoubtedly paid as much as him. No better than Brereton. They won't get five goals between them all season. He was crap last time and he's still crap now.

Hate to say it but Gallagher looked a far better player under Coyle.

  4. Literally none of them have any football know how, the lack of anticipation is piss taking really. Ball up in air, gallagher comes towards ball, travis or buckley just stand there, and then once hes chested it back towards them it was then they went for the ball it was as if they both thought "oh right you were looking to bring the ball back down towards us, oh right". Its like watching schoolboys.

Iv got to say, all those clamouring from rothwell must be feeling a bit silly now. Nowhere near the answer. Show pony with no end product and dangerous liability, doesn’t keep the ball well enough, league one player

Im not assed either way whether he plays or not. But what alternatives do we have? All the back up strikers are woeful and we dont have any further players who like to get forward, bar chapman who the manager seems to dislike.

Very much like Kenny Dalglish in his pomp , it's not just Dacks Goals we need to replace , it's the amount of goals he creates as well , I am sorry but Holtby Rothwell  and co just won't contribute that amount playing as a number 10 "off the striker" , maybe like Chaddy says we may have to change formation to a more regular 4-4-2 Downing left Rothwell right Armstong and Gally up front Travis and Evans in middle of park be very organises work extremely hard and aim to win games 1-0 ... Seems to work ok for our face-combing cousins down  the M65

Or maybe a striker who could score 15-20 goals (we have FIVE fecking FIVE of which just 3 of them cost a MINIMUM of £16 million) if only we had some money to spend.

  7. Back after a ban!

Massive opportunity missed last night, to not be beating Charlton, Luton, Huddersield and Wigan at home is poor and the reason we will not reach the play offs this season, unless we strengthen in January.

Williams - the guy is a total liability, his passing is amateurish at best.

Wigan's game plan was obvious, close us down at every opportunity, sit back and try and hit on the break and it nearly worked for them, we didn't react to it mentaly or tactically. When we play a team like them and the others mentioned above, this is when we miss a game changer, someone who can pick out a pass and create from nothing. Playing with no wingers is still a real concern for me, and if we are going to try and play out from the back we need another centre half who can do so, in addition to Tosin. Not attended, watched highlights or listened to a game for a few months to be honest, this was the first one, and it felt like nothing had changed since I last watched the team (although before anyone shouts, yes I realise they have been on a good run, just typical of them to put in a performance like that).

As a side note, online it showed the JW upper as more or less completely sold out, however there were still some gaps, what's all that about? Did people just not turn up, or where they all down in the concourse? nearly 19k still a good crowd mind.

Because we have detached, uninterested owners, a pal of the manager as Chief Exec and a fan base who think mere survival in the Championship is now our ‘natural level’

And the fans who dont think that are fed up of it all after going on for a decade of fucking shite, lies, corruption, jolly boys jobs and have given up, the owners have won its that simple.

  9. Didnt bother going, watching or listening to the game, went to work instead. Lost much interest in it, also pisses me off a lot less. Coming home and just looking at the score and thinking "yep all very predictable" and then turning over is far easier than watching it and being constantly pissed off for 105 minutes and then spoiling the rest of the weekend. Wont even bother with highlights. Will keep it that way until hes left.

    Fair enough.

IMHO, at £10 PNE would definitely sell out ANY allocation.

With large numbers of away fans, home fans would respond.

It would easily be our biggest gate of the season.

It would depend on where we where. If mowbray is still here, with his team still looking weak as piss, i doubt wed sell more than 16-18k home tickets.
