We can't keep playing smallwood hes dog shit. Gives ball away which is ironic considering that song they sing about him and hes slow as shit at getting back like playing with ten

I thought last seasons theme of starting every game poorly would have been sorted over the summer, but seems not.

Looking at that bench shows we are still a good 3 good player short.

Just watching the Bomber flying over Darwen for the annual 1940's day, brilliant. Anyone else watching? Spitfires after, better than watching Corey Evans and Samuel out on the wing anyway

He didn’t go in the end.
Doesnt sound like Lampard wants to loan him either.
I highly doubt The Dingles would send him to us on loan.

Bayes said we won't be hearing from the manager today, no pre match presser
strange? either he's working on a deal, or he's peed off at the recruitment and doesn't want to answer questions about it

Written by a Forest fan, seems they think the same as us;
"rewind 18 months and he wouldve been sold for that figure by the Fridge Magnet. I am so grateful we now have an owner that is not influenced solely on what £'s are incoming at the club.
Part of me thinks Blackburn only put that bid in, knowing it would be rejected, just to let their fans think they were making an effort by spending decent money"

Garner for a million pound 10 goals last year in the Championship in 32 games. That's more than our current alternatives to Graham,(Samuel and Nuttall) managed combined in league 1 last season. As for Windass he has an eye for goal and something that we desperately lack which is pace.
Hurst had a clear plan sign players that he had seen last year that could be bought for a reasonable fee and could be improved. Whereas all Mowbray appeared to have was a few lists.
As i said both tosh. Garner, Ipswich don't want the bugger, rangers didn't want the bugger, hes rubbish. Windass, again rangers don't want the bugger, their fans think hes shite, wasnt that great in league 2 with accy. Imo of course.

Wigan showed today that there was value in the market getting Windass and Garner for around £3.5 million combined. Both would have been good additions for us in positions that we needed signings in, instead we bid 5 million for an unproven teenager.
Their both shite. Don't talk tosh.

Why would forrest sell him if he's really good to a league rival. ..waghorn went for more, smoke and mirrors and some of you are falling for it
they've spent a heck of a lot and will need to recoup some money, that's all I can think of, won't happen anyway

"Everton defender Matthew Pennington is to return to Leeds United on a season long loan after a successful spell at the club last season, Pennington has turned down Wigan athletic and Blackburn rovers in favour of a return to Elland road!" From Everton fans forum

You're backing up my point perfectly. Thank you. You sign positions where you lack quality, and regardless of our 'numbers' in midfield, the quality of them (especially an evans and smallwood combination) i would argue is relegation standard.
yep their both crap

Left targets until last minute, now...................

Your whole argument is about having bodies in midfield so need places we don't have bodies... We have 4 strikers, so why sign another?
because 2 are crap, 1 only lasts 60 minutes and the other doesn't know whether he is a striker, winger or attacking midfielder

People really do need to calm down. None of us are at Ewood Park or Brockhall. So really none of us knows 100% what going on unless we are inside the building.
Jim White is close to McClaren so I can see him being right about Freeman medical.

Millwall deserved 3 as well, woodwork doesn't count as on target they hit it twice and had another great chance. They were a lot better first half, once again the manager hasn't sorted out the 'slow out of the blocks' mentality.
