Followed him for a bit and he’s not afraid of saying no usually.

Would love it if we got Maddison. I’d written it off and you’ve got my hopes up again!

just seen it - do you mean the other bloke? Not MacAnthony? Ah well have no idea if he gives anything away

Yeh not macanthony another chap who wss doing a q& with fans.

  2. I've just tweeted posh co chairman and asked if we are in for maddison, he liked the tweet with a love heart and then replied saying he doesn't want to confirm that and be accused pf leaking stories and he will leave it with barry fry. Therefore liked the tweet and didn't deny it, make of that what you will.

BS. He was a worse player under a crap manager even when he did play. Kean and Coyle are cut from the same cloth.

Gallagher under Mowbray and played in his actual position would (I believe) be a better player than the left-winger he was under Coyle.

Gallagher is also better than Samuel so he's an improvement

Basically Sharpe has not denied that we are now in for Armstrong. As I said the other day, I couldn’t see anything being confirmed until Monday at the earliest. I think Nixon would only put his neck on the line like that if he was confident of not getting any egg on his face.

Definitely it's usually cryptic stuff if they aren't sure, but he seems pretty sure about this, would look stupid if we didn't sign him, although he did say we had £50million once.

Is he better than Dack though ? Could you play both in the same team ?

Think my answer to that would have to be, if the manager can fit Armstrong, Dack and Graham in the same team, then he can make Clough, Dack and Graham work. Down to manager styles and he would fit into Mowbrays way.

Definitely appears to be on his way out of Forest.

Interestingly, Bolton fans don't seem enormously keen on bring him back either. Can't have impressed much on loan if he's gone from their only real asset to not worth his place for relegation favourites in a couple of years.

Having said that, he strikes me as a player similar to Armstrong, in that he's clearly not going to get a kick for a Parkinson side, doesn't make him a bad player. Would be pretty happy if we could get him on the cheap.

When I used to work in football doing a bit of match reporting, I used to get a lot of Bolton games at the Macron (university of Bolton stadium as it's called now) and saw a lot of Clough, that was when they were in the championship before they went down, he was a pleasure to watch and was by far the best player they had at the club. He's different to anything we have at Rovers now, but I wouldn't say he's someone who is going to score 20 odd goals a season. I would be delighted if we signed him, just needs a manager like Mowbray.

Can't understand why people are so down on Gallagher... To get double figures in an struggling side under Coyle whilst out of position is some good going.

He played out wide a lot didn't he? Which was very weird considering he has none of the attributes whatsoever to play there.

Patrick Bamford has just gone for £7m.

Yeh, just having a look and there is just him and Lewis Grabban who have been sold for around the £7 million mark, so must be one of them two you would think, as you would think it would be a player who's in the championship.

Was looking at Bolton's transfers, they don't seem to have done to bad to say they have no money, Magennis irish international, Donadlson an established decent champ striker not overly exciting but a decent player, Oztumer good signing, Hobbs is a good centre back, Pritchard plenty of potential from Spurs and Wilson, if he can stay injury free would be an astute signing and Olkowski a Polish international with 13 caps.

The £30 one is for juniors, it is £60 quid for adults, I go back to Shanghai end of August so  I'm not getting a season ticket, but paying  £28 for Millwall does seem a  lot to me.

Re:  season tickets I think @Mattyblue hit the nail on the head so let's hope for that play-off  push this  season.

Stand corrected, thought it seemed cheap.

  10. The pricing structure is bonkers, match day tickets are too. For example Millwall at home is £28 a ticket in the Jack Walker Stand, however hospitality in legends is only £30, so anyone with any common sense is going to go into the hospitality, get a meal and chill in the nice lounge for just £2 more. Surely this is devaluing the hospitality side of things.

When asked if there was any more business today Rich Sharpe tweeted something about being at a car showroom about to pick up some new wheels on a long term deal.

Either he really is buying a new car or Ryan Grant is having us on.

he is actually buying a car
