All very well if the style makes sense but I am failing to see how fannying about at the back and conceding sloppy goals and creating next to no chances is going to get us anywhere. Championship football is a dogfight, grinding out results , winning dirty, hammering those weaker teams , we have seen that this team has no fight and has no guts to get back into a game. That’s getting us a ticket to nowhere in Afraid. you say give him time to build his own team but here we are about to close on a window making 1 loan signing so he isn’t taking opportunities to build his team

Need to reply to what I have actually said here chaddy, I said there is little optimism of staying in the playoffs. Jdt has yet to convince me but I know he has his supporters who point to the league position

And yet the majority of our fan base have no optimism of staying there. Or for the future. The results deceive the eyes. There is a distinct lack of quality in the championship this year

Not to add to the tone of the already bleak thread but I have been massively underwhelmed by Broughtons recruitment thus far, I was expecting 2/3 unknown European talent every window and currently doesn’t seem any difference than Tony’s recruitment, in fact if anything worse. Shopping around for water treading loans when we should be pushing the boat out to remain in the playoffs. Beyond frustrating

Used to have someone in the club that fed me itk stuff but he is away after covid and now the club keep what’s going on very close to their chest as they know that rivals have bigger war chests than us so need to keep it hush hush until we get the player through the door. I have no issue with this. did get a tad frustrating when you posted info and it didn’t come off to get the tripe back even though you know that it’s had efforts put to making it happen. appreciate all the heads up posters give here and will never criticise if they don’t come off

Personally I’m sick of loans, know it’s the modern way but still not the same feeling getting a loan deal in than a permanent transfer. if we end up with a prem league youngster it’s all a bit meh
