Andre doesn’t have much football brain about him but if he can just be a finisher then we will do alright with him. Alebiosu is a really good footballer, prem footballer soon and he will deserve it

Always glad for a win. I didn’t bother watching it today as I feared the worst and especially when I looked at ht and we were 1 down but was chuffed when I looked at ft to see we turned it around. Fair play. still, end the season now.

I have went against the tide before on this but this is the reality of the players toth- one of only 3 current players that’s good enough for the league alebiuso- great tank , good defensively, maybe work on final ball, getting some assists/ goals but not really his job. Also good enough for the league Wharton/mclaughlin- steady enough but both capable of poor mistakes and seem to lack a real leader back there riberio- fell off a cliff this season form wise- manager issue? Rather have Pickering currently de neve- pace but doesn’t know how to use it. Not champ quality kargbo- utter headless chicken. 0 footballing brain, not good enough, never will be axel- clumsy, little quality, does silly fouls, not good enough tavares- tidy but not physically up to his position or the league, who is scouting these folk hickman- pretty bloody awful, couldn’t even get in a league 1 team and it shows. Another smallwood baradgi- no idea. Who signs somebody that can’t play for months? Us that’s who tronstadt- looks unhappy and seriously lacking help in the middle. Form has also worryingly dipped cantwell- champ quality which is rare in the squad, must hate playing in this team hedges- rotten and has always been Japanese lads- technically good but lightweight. Too easily brushed aside and got to question if they are suited to the league gueye- not good enough and never has been. Terrible signing gudjohnssson- a non scoring forward, great just what we needed, I was really missing the Sam Gallagher role. As with the mentioned, not getting into positions to score and that’s red flags for a striker there is probably others I have forgot but this is the reality of the squad. Quite simply it’s nowhere near good enough to compete. We could and probably should replace ismeal but I don’t see our fortunes changing with the squad as it is. No quality, no goals, soft underbelly, not able to turn games when we go behind.

It’s just maddening that the majority of the fanbase called this in the summer and as usual weren’t listened to and totally patronised by gestede and co saying no these players will excite and it’s the start of a new dawn. We have signed one decent player at right back and a steady central defender but then sold our other steady central defender. Absolute car crash of a window , these players aren’t and never will be good enough , that much is clear

Yea I said similar earlier, problem being it’s not just one or two that we can take our time on and gradually gel into team like mgp, this is players who are starting for us and we are needing to hit the ground running, they haven’t and we find ourselves where we are. It’s mismanagement on the recruitment but I’m not making any revelations here we aren’t all aware of

Thought Riberio was awful , loads of good positions and don’t think he found a rovers player once. Surely he wasn’t the best defender, worst for me

I was bashing them mid game but actually after we conceded I thought we responded well and worthy of the point if not all 3. Still alarm bells with the quality we have. kargbo- applaud the balls to bounce back and be counted after his error midweek, he is still a bit of a headless chicken but can cause confusion clearly, nearly won it too. de neve looked good when he came on and I had all but wrote him off, but some nice crosses that Riberio was failing to do from that side. Still annoyed me when he wimped out a coming together with keeper and defender when ball was there to be won. gudjohnssen- yea not great but I’m willing to give him a bit more time, we have had plenty of strikers in the past that have looked terrible and then caught fire, brereton in recent memory. alabioso is the only summer signing that’s been ready made for championship, others are lightweight and look generally pretty poor. Sorry I will say mccloughlin is pretty solid, he is fine. But still that summer transfer window is looking pretty horrific. Gestede being a champ player and a big strong lad at that, you would think he would know the type of player that would excel , I do think we are small/weak and a genuine lack of quality will take the point but it’s still very worrying times ahead
