  1. Neither of the names generally excite me but there was a lot worse banded about so I will just about accept either, I don’t think either are long term appointments, be lucky if they are still in post this time next year
  2. Ryan hedges stats- games played 33 1 goal- I can’t even remember it 1 assist and he is meant to be an attacker. bin bin bin
  3. I’m one of his biggest critics but there has been games this season he has been our best player , not to mention our massive game at Leicester. But I admit he isn’t good enough to be our number 1
  4. Pears is such a Jekyll and Hyde keeper, unfortunately you don’t know what one has turned up game by game until he has either pulled off a great save or threw one into the net. He needs replaced as we can’t be having this degree of variance in performances in a keeper.
  5. Least it can put to bed those that wanted Lowe to be given it, fresh ideas needed to get over the line
  6. Unfortunately I feel it’s get promoted now or we aren’t funding players and running down contracts to slip into the abyss. Certainly feels like that just now so Lowe doesn’t fill me with confidence he can make a real go of the playoffs
  7. Boa morte would just be absolutely brainless, think he would be at the absolute bottom of the list for me if O’Neill and cooper are off the table , next best for me would be Edward’s or ismael
  8. Surprised dean smith hasn’t been mentioned
  9. Ismael is the one that’s always been in the back of my mind with the Barnsley connection, brittain and Woodrow , not that I particularly want him but I can see the club going down that route
  10. If Gary o Neil is happy to come here then I’m more than happy with that appointment , as good as we could do , never getting the big name we all desire
  11. Think it’s more the anger and the uncertainty of the future that is causing so much unrest rather than pining over Eustace. He gave us some hope that despite everything we were going in the right direction, now it seems as crazy and chaotic as ever
  12. Would be nervous with boateng or boa morte, inexperienced and a gamble we shouldn’t be taking raging if it were Russell Martin, don’t rate him at all 50/50 on gerrard, big name in football but his history looks sketchy at best, not sure he is a great manager ok with carsley, O’Neill or Edward’s, all had somewhat success and appear to be steady hands would bite your hand off at cooper or Danny rohl rest on the list for one reason or another just nah. sadly don’t think there is any realistic stand out candidates. It’s a shame mark robins was snapped up
  13. Used to be Fulham that signed all our good players, now seems to be sheff Utd
  14. Don’t understand your point here, his moral obligation is to the players and fans for supporting him and running through walls for him not to rovers per se.
  15. Well I have to admit, I took great pleasure in seeing derby get skelped and hurtling towards the trap door. I was a big get Eustace in when jdt went , I jumped to his defence when we weren’t winning at the start of his tenure, and I absolutely get that it’s a toxic environment to work in but…… he had a moral obligation to see out the season to the players and the fans and he has embarrassed us. No issue with him leaving in the summer , but now when it could potentially derail the whole season, I’m sorry but the meek excuses don’t wash. Let down so will take pleasure seeing derby drop
  16. Superb lads, deserve massive credit
  17. Hope your watching Eustace, this is what you have thrown away to go to derby , despite the circus , I think your mad to leave just now
  18. And another chunk of love for rovers chipped away genuinely not sure how much more we can take, an absolutely dark dark day for the club , plunging into crises that no other club have had to face if venkys and waggot don’t depart soon I truly believe the club will go to the wall. Without fans there is no club and everyone has had enough
  19. Eustace gets his meeting, gets assurances that should we fail to make it up this year he will be heavily backed in the transfer market in the summer, walks out to the media like leonardo di caprio shouting I’m not f’ing leaving like a boss and then I remembered….
  20. If this comes to fruition I just don’t see where we as a club go from here, three managers that have left early after not receiving assurances of being backed, that’s not a coincidence it’s just fact that there is no ambition from the owners. And if we don’t have that then what are we doing? Appointing another man to once again fail to be backed and leave , club is going to the wall. Didn’t think it could get much darker but this is a new low. When does it end
  21. It’s going to be a manager till the end of the season ain’t it, once he sees that we have no money and half our team out of contract he will run a mile and we will really be in the mire without a manager and a threadbare squad. Strap in folks, we are in for ‘another’ bumpy ride. What can we do but watch the house burn?
  22. I get that he is frustrated and wouldn’t blame him at all for wanting to leave but wait till the end of the season , if he leaves now he will go right down in my estimation
  23. I don’t like picking on a player but hedges really really grinds my gears. What has he done for us in all the seasons he has been here, 1 goal v Watford?! offers absolutely nothing up top and can I just mention he played as a striker for Aberdeen at times?! Baffling get him binned please, I’m sick of seeing him lose the ball, either running into traffic or terrible passes as others have said I don’t think we are a great team, have we controlled any game for more than 10-15 minutes at a time? Our ability to keep hold of the ball and sustain attacking impetus is non existent. Cantwell should be the one in there keeping hold of the ball and popping it off , but he looks weak and lost currently. Then we have our wingers who don’t have a clue how to hurt the opposition and just lose the ball. I’m interested to see if our signings improve us but if we can’t keep hold of the ball and invite pressure then we are going to slip down to the lower half sooner or later
  24. An interesting contrast was they brought their fading midfielder on whose goal won them the game, we brought ours on and lost the midfield
  25. This, our tactics for chasing a game have been atrocious for years , just never look likely
