  1. Well I have to admit, I took great pleasure in seeing derby get skelped and hurtling towards the trap door. I was a big get Eustace in when jdt went , I jumped to his defence when we weren’t winning at the start of his tenure, and I absolutely get that it’s a toxic environment to work in but…… he had a moral obligation to see out the season to the players and the fans and he has embarrassed us. No issue with him leaving in the summer , but now when it could potentially derail the whole season, I’m sorry but the meek excuses don’t wash. Let down so will take pleasure seeing derby drop
  2. Superb lads, deserve massive credit
  3. Hope your watching Eustace, this is what you have thrown away to go to derby , despite the circus , I think your mad to leave just now
  4. And another chunk of love for rovers chipped away genuinely not sure how much more we can take, an absolutely dark dark day for the club , plunging into crises that no other club have had to face if venkys and waggot don’t depart soon I truly believe the club will go to the wall. Without fans there is no club and everyone has had enough
  5. Eustace gets his meeting, gets assurances that should we fail to make it up this year he will be heavily backed in the transfer market in the summer, walks out to the media like leonardo di caprio shouting I’m not f’ing leaving like a boss and then I remembered….
  6. If this comes to fruition I just don’t see where we as a club go from here, three managers that have left early after not receiving assurances of being backed, that’s not a coincidence it’s just fact that there is no ambition from the owners. And if we don’t have that then what are we doing? Appointing another man to once again fail to be backed and leave , club is going to the wall. Didn’t think it could get much darker but this is a new low. When does it end
  7. It’s going to be a manager till the end of the season ain’t it, once he sees that we have no money and half our team out of contract he will run a mile and we will really be in the mire without a manager and a threadbare squad. Strap in folks, we are in for ‘another’ bumpy ride. What can we do but watch the house burn?
  8. I get that he is frustrated and wouldn’t blame him at all for wanting to leave but wait till the end of the season , if he leaves now he will go right down in my estimation
  9. I don’t like picking on a player but hedges really really grinds my gears. What has he done for us in all the seasons he has been here, 1 goal v Watford?! offers absolutely nothing up top and can I just mention he played as a striker for Aberdeen at times?! Baffling get him binned please, I’m sick of seeing him lose the ball, either running into traffic or terrible passes as others have said I don’t think we are a great team, have we controlled any game for more than 10-15 minutes at a time? Our ability to keep hold of the ball and sustain attacking impetus is non existent. Cantwell should be the one in there keeping hold of the ball and popping it off , but he looks weak and lost currently. Then we have our wingers who don’t have a clue how to hurt the opposition and just lose the ball. I’m interested to see if our signings improve us but if we can’t keep hold of the ball and invite pressure then we are going to slip down to the lower half sooner or later
  10. An interesting contrast was they brought their fading midfielder on whose goal won them the game, we brought ours on and lost the midfield
  11. This, our tactics for chasing a game have been atrocious for years , just never look likely
  12. Hedges is our worst player and been our worst performer this season. Just awful
  13. Tbf I didn’t like how we played when we had Armstrong , was all set up for him to be the only one shooting, I remember one game in particular he had about a million shots and all way off target
  14. Bit catty from you mate of course I would love us to spend money and plan for the future but when in the last how many januarys have we actually done that. Until we get rid of venkys I’m afraid this is just what we have. With Dennis we have somebody that can win games and change how we attack, that to me is a positive , as we were so slow and one dimensional before. If it means I don’t have to scratch my eyes out with hedges and Dolan all the time I will take that. Surely it beats John fleck and whoever else we got last January
  15. I get that we wanted business done earlier for our January fixtures, I get that we wanted money spent and potential for future sales, I get that we have the same issues in the summer with short term deals but…. i don’t actually think the business done yesterday is all doom and gloom. Went in wanting pace, goals and championship experience and largely we have addressed that. Riberio is a smart bit of business, Dennis if we can get him up to speed is up there with the best in the league for his position and I’m not as against the Woodrow signing as most, at 30 he still has time to recapture what he had at Barnsley. Scores some absolute beauties and we haven’t had the long range goal threat for a very long time. Yes it didn’t work out for him at Luton but it happens , maybe a move back up north is just what he needs. forshaw is about 4 years too late to be signing but I get the thinking, it’s experience to see out games. Sanderson , seems a solid enough backup, certainly likes a tackle , not sure if we will make it permanent but yea fine. kargbo I don’t really know but I’m interested to see what he can do, looks like he has pace which is good just need to piss with the wenis we have now and get on with it, our moans and gripes can wait till the seasons end as we see how it pans out. Eustace and the team deserve our support for their efforts already this season, it’s a stark contrast to last year. As another has said I think we are in a fight for 6th, let’s kick on starting tonight
  16. Light in midfield , siggy gives us cover there albeit if he is fit, I just don’t see why we would need 3 left backs
  17. But yea you will assume Pickering
  18. I think it would be best if we gave a good luck all the best to siggy if he is away in the summer anyway, looked handy initially but just hasn’t shown enough and always injured. other than him I could see the end of the road for rankin- costello , had a decent spell a few years back but either injured or out of form these days, not going to be a regular. Like him but think he needs a move
  19. I would say stats don’t always tell the whole story, I’m sure Danny Graham didn’t have great stats after his good seasons with Watford
  20. I can get it in that we can play different strikers for different opposition gueye- strength, hold up play, Ariel threat Dennis- speed, strength, run the channels woodrow- clean striker of the ball, can score from outside the area, looks to pick up loose balls in the box, wing back cut backs/ crosses
  21. I’m Scottish and watch a fair bit of spl, shankland is slow, overweight and generally unfit. He was generally blamed for Naismith getting binned early in the season as hearts were bottom and he was missing good chances galore, generally feeling was that he was having his purple patch season last year and now he is where he is more at. He is not champ quality, he would really struggle in the league. Not quick, not tall/ strong, think dickov without the grittiness
  22. I’m actually not dead against the Woodrow one if true, wanted him when he was at Barnsley , scored some cracking goals and has previous with brittain. he is by far a better option than shankland
  23. Need somebody else to mix the contracts up and have cauley Dennis and Emmanuel Woodrow on the contracts to scupper the deal last minute
  24. Believe I did say Dennis start of January and we would be rushing one through that’s been hush hush until today 😉
