Coventry fans have stated that when they moved to a back four, McFadzean was dropped, with the system not suiting him So we could be moving to a regular back three? Or if we’re holding onto a lead, he’s chucked on with 10/15 mins left to see the game out?

We’ve lost Carter for pretty much the rest of the season. O’Riordan is untested at Championship level and we are desperate for experience in the squad. It’s only a deal until the end of the season and ticks a lot of boxes. JDT has asked for more experience and another centre back- he’s got his wish.

That’s one way to raise the average age of the squad.
