Preston had 4 strikers on the pitch so it's natural you want an extra centre back on the pitch

Not at all.  That shows a severe lack of football knowledge.  Does it not occur to you that we may have taken advantage elsewhere on the pitch with them going so heavy up top?  Arguments for the sake of it with you.

Just waiting now for the announcement of JDT's exit.

He's not been phenomenal but he's done a very good job overall.

Having the senior management of the club sabotage the season makes his position untenable. I honestly can't see him staying and putting up with that shit.

Or he can keep his £1m per annum salary and have no real pressure for a few years...🤔  move to Leeds, probably out of a job within 12 months....

I know Diaz is woeful atm. But what frustrates me and it also is not probably helping him, is he is left wing. We don't want him tracking back to help because he is a danger defensivley to us! and when the ball is out wide for him hes having to cross the ball or set others up. His all round game play is dire!, but with his goal record you need that numpty in the 18 yard box. Hes woeful because hes in a position that if he cant cut in and shoot then hes pointless. Playing him out wide makes him a 1 trick pony, soon as the option to shoot is not on, you just know he will give the ball away. If you give the ball to him around the middle of the goal in the 18 yard box he might get a shot off. Dolan is lightweight,, he is not a 9. It pees me off when JDT said before the game we are playing without a striker. Are you mental?! we have a striker thats our top scorer going to la liga who you are putting left wing! Hes woeful with the ball put him around there 18 yard box so hes in around the box not giving the ball away in our own half or on the left wing when we get the ball in the final 3rd. He gave it away countless times saturday, all because he was having to pass or cross to others, not his game. Hes a dreadful footballer, but theres no doubt he can score.

I just think defenders have sussed him out.  He hasn't got good close control or a burst of pace.  Very easy to defend against when you know where he wants to take the  ball.

We have had a decent record at both Dens down the years.

The home crowd are going to be very nervous so the longer we keep them out the better.

I can only imagine the players and crowd being very aggressive and our little flowers might struggle a bit with the occasion.   Pity we have no men in the building.

I don't understand this criticism. Considering the fact that shortlists and transfer targets should be determined at least a month or two before the window opens, then it makes sense to have budgets set long before the season is finished. These might involve setting multiple potential budgets depending on how the end of the season goes, but I can't understand criticising the club for proper planning - especially when you consider how out of character it is.

In all honesty, it feels like either approach would be criticised. Had they announced that budgets had yet to be set then there would be people on here questioning why we were leaving things so late.

Fair point.  Greggy is under severe pressure this summer in my opinion.   He needs to deliver some quality signings .....I'm not confident,  think he talks a good game but not come up with anything good since he's been here.
