The sheer incompetence here is absolutely staggering. How anyone in that position can make a basic ‘administrative error’ 3 times in a row is beyond me. What a laughing stock we are. The club is a complete and utter mess. change needed.

Once is bad but to repeat the mistake twice is completely unforgiveable for a professional outfit who complete transfers every 6 months. As many have pointed out already - there are never any reports of deadlines being missed when players leave. We were told by GB that a robust process was being put in place to stop this episode being repeated - whoever audited that 'process' and signed it off needs to be accountable. If that was anyone else you'd be down the road with your P45 tucked in your back pocket. Absolute shambles.

Kyle McFadzean said in his interview with Radio Lancs that it took a week to sort a free transfer from Coventry. No fee involved, yet it seemingly takes forever to get anything approved. If this was any other business then people would be fired for sheer incompetence.

Just seen Boro are selling Rogers to Villa. Follows on from selling Akpom in the summer. Clubs have to trade and that invariably involves losing your most valuable assets - i.e the ones that will command the biggest fees. Unfortunately it's the way it has to be.

Playing Devil's advocate here but isn't that the job of the Academy? Find a diamond, polish them up and sell them on for a decent chunk of money. Sadly with the way the club is being run you and with the well documented financial issues this isn't a deal that the club can turn down.
