  1. He's out for several weeks. Whats more specific than that? Those comments were made fifteen minutes after the game.
  2. Contact the North Lancs Branch, they run a coach from Morecambe/Lancaster to all home games as far as I know. See http://www.northlancsrovers.co.uk/
  3. I know the view from the heavens isn't great but our midfield were bleeding brilliant today. Tugay took the micky, Savage ran and hustled at every opportunity and Steven Reid was strong as an ox with surging forward runs. At the back Lucas and Mickey Gray bombed forward at every opportunity, whilst Nelsen and Zura were imperious at the back, not only did they win pretty much everything in the air, but their distribution was good also. We should have been 2-0 up at half-time, the goal we scored was the least we deserved. For me, the performance was up there with the one at Wigan, the only thing it lacked was the goals. Sergio didn't look out of place when he came on, kept putting balls into the box, showed a great piece of skill to skip past one defender and then through two others. Pity Bellamy didn't play, he'd have had a field day.
  4. The incident is now subject to a Police investigation. The Police are appealing for anyone who has any information about the trouble or the infiltration of the CIS stand to come foward. Please contact the Blackburn Police Station on 01254 51212 quoting incident number 118EQ/200106 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
  5. It'd be Wednesday 25th. I take it you aren't going Mr Flops?
  6. I can't see how Pedersen will be involved in the reserves match away against Sunderland next Tuesday.
  7. Because you click "Reply" as opposed to "Fast Reply" or "Add Reply"??
  8. Is that Eddie with the French top on behind the bald bloke?
  9. Its a cup game, therefore the prices have to be agreed between both sets of fans. Looks to me like both parties have similar schemes in place therefore were able to offer the same. Not sure why you've put "West Ham won't know who bought the Rovers tickets", it isn't them who are selling the tickets to Rovers fans. ?
  10. The attendance will be nowhere near that figure I'm afraid, 19000ish
  11. I can't even remember your name! Um I think he was called Dave.
  12. And strangely that story almost mirrors a bloke that I met outside the Blackburn End taking photographs, he was from Austin Texas, I gave him a quick tour round the pitch.
  13. I've heard a whisper that the only stand that hasn't sold well this evening is the £20 CIS stand. What does that say?
  14. Lee had no idea why it said that, Lee told PremiumTV to put it down as 3.00pm
  15. With Manchester United selling out their allocation, and with the increased interest of fans 'from Blackburn' who don't know their own postcode when asked a second time, the club had to take the decision to stop selling tickets at a certain time. The police could quite easily have put a halt to us selling tomorrow full stop. The last thing we want is for Rovers fans who are genuinely queueing up to get stuck behind a host of Man Utd fans trying to dupe the staff into selling them tickets. Saying that, there's been no queue today. At all.
  16. Hey, how come no-one has asked how many tickets have been sold for next Wednesday? But then again, after seeing some fans predictions maybe I shouldn't mention it.
  17. I'd rather not put marks of ten as the players know me!... Fielding: very little to do, marshalled his defence well, dropped one catch under pressure but thats about. Bateson: Only his second start at this level and his first at Ewood Park, nervy to start with but grew in confidence as the game wore on. Nolan: A calming influence at the back, comfortable on the ball, but this confidence almost saw him caught out on occasions Thomson: Excellent, he'd get my MOM, saved Rovers on at least two occasions with blocks and tackles, strong in the air, forceful in the tackle King: Ran his socks off, worked well with his mate Woods down the win, always eager to support going forward, but often the first back to mop up. Judge: The Irish version of Paul Dickov, he never gives up and but for a little bit of luck could have grabbed a couple of goals, does well on the right wing despite him preferring to play up front. Hodge: Ran the midfield, broke up play, won important tackles, and good distribution, everything you'd want a midfielder to do. Pezzoni: Struggled on his Ewood debut Woods: Created everything in the first 15 minutes, a busy midfielder who can play pretty much everywhere and this versatility means he is comfortable in many situations. Garner: Old head on young shoulders, people my have thought he didn't have a good game, but he rarely lost the ball, almost always found a team-mate, won numerous headers against much taller markers, had a hand in the opening goal. Clarke: Anyone who reads my Academy match reports will know that this guy is fast, I would like to see Jamie and Bellamy in a head to head because there is no doubt he's quick, but he is also quick with the ball at his feet and his persistence got him the goal he deserved. O'Keefe: Impressed in a 15 minute performance, almost grabbed a rare goal, lots of forward running.
  18. Man City defeated West Ham 4-2, and having seen City twice this season (we won one and lost one) they are my tip to lift the trophy.
  19. Taylor is left footed, he plays predominantly at left back or left centre half, but Hughes was that short of full backs that he has featured as right back pre-season. Garner has probably played for England's youth teams this season, whilst he's featured seven times for the reserves, scoring twice. He's still young and is in his first year with the reserves. Ciaran Donnelly is in his second season with Blackpool, he moved to the seasiders when his contract ended with Rovers.
  20. In order of closeness to the first team: S. Peter A. Taylor J. Garner. Peter and Taylor were in the 20 man squad that went to Fulham (Jansen and Matteo being the other two that didn't make the 16)
