    Semi Final

I know it is something Arriva have thought about, but I don't know the outcome, I'll try to find out when people are available to ask. Update: No further news, Arriva are still talking with Barbara Magee about the possibility. Obviously if they want silly money, then it won't happen.

    Semi Final

Better hope the game aint moved to a monday then Den (JOKE EVERYONE!) There's sod all trains on a Saturday and there's sod all trains on a Sunday, thats the rail system for you! The quickest journey takes nigh on five hours. If we played at 5.15pm Saturday and it went to extra time and penalties you'd be hard pressed to get a train back. Sure I'll mention it to Tom Finn, but I doubt it'll hold much sway.

    Semi Final

And what are the club going to be able to do? It is the FA, the TV companies and the Police who determine these things, the clubs just have to like it or lump it. There are always going to be fans who won't be happy with whatever choice was made, one things for sure the games were always going to be held in Cardiff, sure the club could make an appeal for the game to be played elsewhere, but on what basis? The fact that we won't sell out all our tickets? We'd be the laughing stock, the media already think we'll bring bugger all to the semi. Of course any appeal would always fall on deaf ears. As Cpt Kayos has seen from his reply, it is precisely what Adrian Bevington at the FA put out yesterday "chance for more fans to see the games, blah blah blah", we all know that the fans opinions aren't taken into consideration. Get your tickets, cheer on the lads, enjoy the day, we may never get another chance.

    Semi Final

We set off at 4am for the Full Members Cup final at Wembley, whats the problem with that!!! Enjoy the day, enjoy the game and enjoy the victory!
  8. That was probably Chris Cooper from Talksport who saw that. I think Stead was in the middle of that huddle to be honest. I only caught the tail end of it, hopefully the Rovers World guys pitchside managed to press record on the camera quickly enough to catch it.
  9. dunno, but i'm not optimistic, I fear some fans think we've had our final.
  10. There didn't seem as many as that to be honest. Looks like the pubs in Blackburn will have been busy again. It'll be the same next Sunday
  11. Feast your eyes on this background instead
  12. I sat in that area since the ground was re-developed, never complained unless it rained
  13. Dan, If I was sat in my season ticket seats I'd be right behind you. But I'm not, I'm in the press box. Stu, I'm not aware of any restricted views at all, although obviously the views in the corners aren't too hot.
  14. I'll ignore the illegal practices of purchasing tickets in this way, but I've just found out that there are no seats together apart from restricted views and the top corner of the family stand. The rest are just single seats.
  15. the one child/one adult criteria for that stand isn't applicable, but anyway, I'm just told that it (BBE top tier) is almost sold out. The longer you leave it, the less chance of getting two seats near each other.
  16. from what I hear, there are single seats in most stands, but most tickets remain in the top tier of the Blackburn End. Don't know numbers
  17. Sorry, but I'd rather let the ticket office get on with the job of trying to shift tickets rather than bugging them for latest numbers, plus I'm unable to ring downstairs to find out as they are all on the phones! Tickets are selling at an average of 4000 a day currently, which probably explains the 13000 figure that the LET used, and the 5000 left to sell after today as the sellout figure will be somewhere in the 2900s
  18. Ticket update for you. We (the club) envisage that after the Season Ticket deadline has passed today that there will be in the region of 5000 tickets remaining to be sold on Saturday (9am-4pm), Sunday (11am-3pm) and Monday (9am-7pm) Obviously if this changes then we'll will make further announcements.
  19. if you are driving down to Ewood now, I'd join the very small queue!
  20. I just rang the ticket office number and was 30th in the queue. Futher update, just been downstairs and there is NO QUEUE, there is about 5 people at windows
  21. The members of the 500 club paid for the privilege for EVERY Rovers home game.
  22. Dan, the Ticket office are too busy to ask to be perfectly honest. But can tell you that the queue at the ticket office isn't as large right now as it has been on previous days
  23. I don't know what has led you to come to that conclusion, but it certainly isn't the case at this time. Just that my dads mate wanted 4 together, only place he could get them was JW stand. Lee, do I stand a good chance of getting 4 together on sunday? Aren't you a season ticket holder Dan? Anway, we'll know better by close of play today, because there will be season ticket holders who won't get a ticket for this game, juniors, people who have to work etc. Once we know how many season ticket seats we can sell there'll be a better idea, but as it stands there at this time are plenty of seats left in all areas of the ground, though with us not selling season ticket holders seats yet it might be trickier to get a few together.
  24. The 'bloke wandering around doing nothing with a radio' was probably trying to stop fans from parking on double yellow lines and thus getting parking tickets. Despite requests, fans aren't parking on the car parks, they are just ditching their cars on the streets, and then they get annoyed when they've to leave the queue to avoid getting parking tickets. The steward is just there to ensure there's no trouble. The staff at the club shop are employed by Sports World, they are not Blackburn Rovers staff any more. Neither of these people (nor me for that matter) know how the ticket office system works, and can't readily be trained in flogging tickets. There's a huge difference between scanning a side of beef on a till and grilling some disgruntled person who has queued for 40 minutes on why he wants 5 tickets for a game when he's only ever bought 1 in the past. It pisses me off. On Sky you see queues and queues of people at Brentford with happy smiling faces queuing for hours to get their tickets for their cup replay, whereas we get people complaing because it was cold and they had to stand in line for an hour in a sheltered concourse with the TVs on. I assume you got your ticket in the end?
