  1. to be fair, whoever took over from curbs had an almost immposible job on their hands! dowie's signings were not the best and didn't help the cause though and with all the stuff with jordan was banging the nails in his coffin. in this day and age, bad results costs money and the players won't get sacked so the manager is the scapegoat!
  2. gallagher deserves his chance imo, it just aint happening the last few matches and its time for a change of personel. i would put gallagher in central midfield next to tugay, i know he hasn't got the physical side to his game like say mokoena, but he has the stamina, will work hard getting from box to box and can offer alot more to the side than the axe whom doesn't seem to sharp these days!
  3. if zurab had scored the header it could have been a different story. we have no pace and we have nobody who wanted to run with the ball apart from emerton. our midfield was no where, tugay couldn't get hold of the ball and we had no fight today. alan parry and the sky commentry was even worse than our performance, alan parry a neutral colour red me thinks the tosser!!!
  4. ferguson and scholes have picked up the manager and player of the month awards for october! does the manager of the month award still jinx the team in their next game?
  5. cold, windy with light showers the weather forcast for tomorrow. Should be quite tasty!!!
  6. beckham's new boots being released at tommy balls, what ever next!!!
  7. yeah i think i remember a bust up there with peter ribsdale getting some bad treatment, the now cardiff chairman. still out for at least a few more weeks, is on soccer am tomorrow morning with lovejoy and co.
  8. Who has been quoted as beckham's idol when growing up.
  9. alan smith is on his way to cardiff on loan according to bbc wales after a ###### 60 mins against a victorious southend side on wednesday. manky have accepted the loan deal.
  10. couldn't beleve it when i read it, shocking! 10% chance of signing him, his wages would be paid by all the merchendice(sp) we would sell if the club shop got into gear! could be a real coup by hughes!!!
  11. he may not be able to play for us until january but can he come over early, get settled in, start training and match fit so he is ready to play in january?
  12. does anybody know who the ref is?
  13. after a perfect prediction last week from the one and only lawro, he has got us down for a 2-0 defeat! Blackburn v Man Utd (1715 GMT) "It's the wrong time for Mark Hughes' team to be hosting United after their ignominious Carling Cup exit to Southend. I always feel sorry for any team that has to play one of the top four teams after they've just lost. Not only that but Blackburn are ravaged by injuries at the moment so I can't see United slipping up again."
  14. that adds up to around 25 million!!! shocking when you think what you could do with that amount of money now!
  15. anybody got any idea what attendence there will be on saturday with ticket sales? with the game on p.p.v there will be a few fans staying in their arm chairs instead of ewood park i know but with manky selling around 6000-8000 tickets we could be looking at around 28,000 imo?
  16. eastwood is valued at around 3-4 million people on sky sports were saying lastnight.
  17. i remember i and a few others on the board wanted to sign him back in the summer. he is a good, young prospect but being realistic maybe it would of been to much of a gamble with our limited transfer funds back then. with his goal and performance against manky lastnight, it would of put his transfer fee up a few bucks!!!
  18. didn't know you knew the 1 manky uth fan in manchesor
  19. according to one of todays rags, in the gossip section is says we are after doyle from reading in the january transfer window!!!!
  20. well good odds down the bookies for a sending off on saturday. i'm quite looking forward to see how gray goes about playing rooney, it could turn nasty. it's a shame savage isn't playing, we all luv rio after last season.
  21. because mokoena is the only fit "defensive midfielder" central midfielder we got availible to us.
  22. backlash v backlash, well who wants it more
  23. so many folks predicting the worst on saturday, we need to start singing again, remember we are blackburn rovers we are supreme!!! the best link i've ever posted, enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RNNQ_k5lTE
  24. i thought he would of taken part against chelsea in the carling cup as most teams feild alot of their reserves in the competition, as he didn't feature it's going to be hard for him to break through into the first team unless we have a striker injury crisis or convinces the management team in training and reserve games. i personally would give him a chance, 8 goals shows talent and see if he can grasp an oportunity with both hands.
  25. fairplay good preview though i think you need to get out more vyeo mate. we need the first goal!
