  1. agree with that buddy all the way. neill has been asked to do a job for the team and even though the performance against wigan wasn't his best, we won the game and it's probably his last game for rovers anyway.
  2. ###### chelsea scum bags!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! can't beleve that!!

  5. i'll never forget when we played chelsea at ewood when gallagher equalised to make it 2-2 and was kissing the kappa badge in front of the bbe!! bloody glen johnson scored in the dying seconds to win it 3-2, was gutted. gallagher has had so many chances and maybe it's time for him to take a new career path, i dont think we know what his best position is and he's failed to hold down a first team place when given the oppertunity by souness and hughes. these days on most occassions he's even failing to make the first 16, i think if a decent offer comes in for him in january then it could be bye byes!!
  6. against boro i think we will know if it's neill's last game in a rovers shirt if he does a lap round the pitch at the end of the game. i cant see him just wanting to leave through the back door and will say goodbye properly. i must express though i only think this will happen if there is a deal already in place on the table, he'd look a bit of a muppet if he done it and then was linning up against arsenal in our next home game. i hope he gets a good send off, yeah this season he's said what he's said and so forth, but what he has done for rovers over the years has been more than anyone could have thought when we signed him for a couple of grand from millwall.
  7. the problem with henchoz these days is that he is so slow, i mean my nan would fancy her chances in a sprint race. great experience, solid defender and a decent back up. can he take the club forward? imo no, when nelsen returns there will be to many ahead of him in the pecking order and he will be surplus to requirements.
  8. bellamy at anfield and gilberto sping to mind where emerton has been done in the air and we have conceded, both from corners too. maybe we should put him up front on corners, his pace could be an outlet on the break.
  9. new contract for super robbie savage http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...+sign+up+Savage

  12. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/funny_old_game/6183687.stm last day in work? bored? take the quiz!!
  13. if jeffers isn't on the pitch then he will probably have to, neill and benni have both missed penaltys this season and i don't know if they would fancy another especially in that pressure situation, roberts has taken one and missed but is currently out injured. neill is the first choice.
  14. ok it's 0-0 against the scousers and we have a penalty in the last minute of injury time which will be the last kick of the match and lucas neill is taking it? if he signed a 4 year extension deal to stay with rovers you would have less doubt about him missing the pen than with the current situation with him being almost certain to start playing for liverpool in the new year? mentally he doesn't want to hinder his future club and get on the bad side of the fans, players and setup at liverpool before he has even arrived by knocking in the winning goal for the club he is leaving. i may be talking balls here and yes the players are pro's and honouring contracts etc.. but it's an interesting scenario don't you think?
  15. ooijer has been only at the club 5 mins and he had the arm band when neill wasn't playing. i'm really split wheather neill will or should play against the scousers nevermind being captain. could you imagine if he scores an own goal for instance?
  16. city will survive just because they are alright at home, boro i think are a team in trouble!!
  17. i think the majority of fans on brfcs including myself want dunny back, cheap wages, cheap fee, blackburn lad, increase of attendences at ewood is possible, on his day a top english midfielder who can play anywhere accross the midfield 4, the only negative is his injury concerns which are going to be checked out by the rovers medical staff before any desicion is made. maybe the mods should put up a poll and let the votes decide?
  18. i seen the interview onn ssn and i think wouldn't be surprised if the deal was already in place. he loves blackburn, he can eat 1 more mince pie than father xmas but to be fair i thought dunny looked in good shape from the pictures.
  19. who was the player who complained it was to cold in lancashire and it rained to much? i remember we had a pretty decent turkish left back but i cant remember his name, was it unsal? he left because he was homesick i seem to recall?
