so in your opinion friedel is having a dip in form when he has done nothing wrong bacause none of the goals were his fault??? the mcfadden incident was a lack of comunication with todd, so you could blame either if you really wanted to and that has nothing to do with form

what do you suggest? put enks in goal? friedel is immense, the guy is top drawer!! how many clean sheets has he had this season?? and i've seen countless times when he has won game after game for us .

what i'm trying to say den mate is that they had a reserve goalkeeper in goal, apparently 4th choice at the club, playing premiership football with a defence he has never played with before. communication, nerves and abilty should of been questioned on a persistant(sp) basis. fairpaly to weir and stubbs, the o.a.p's played deep and protected him. with everton scoring first gave them something to hang on to and we wern't up to breaking them down with an extra man which in my view is gutted.

i cant predict a scoreline, i hope we just batter them. keep the faith

i'm well dissapointed with saturdays result. with everton going down to 10 men so early i thought as soon as we got the first the flood gates would open and there was a hat full to be had. everton defended well whatever, but we should of taken them apart!! sparks must of been sparking in that dressing room at 5pm!!!

i would really like emerton to start against everton. his last few apps he has played some good football and i feel he deserves his chance. after seing valente(sp), a champions league winner play against chelski, even i would fancy my chances on the right wing against him. the guy is slow, tackling just isn't in his i.q and he could have even been sent off for just being plain crap. emerton is starting to put in 110%, as before he was always in the first 11 and maybe just going through the motions, recently though he has been dropped to the bench and realised he isn't an automatic pick and he has to fight for his place. with australlia in the world cup, he needs to preform at club level to make the national side imo so hopefully he will be on fire this weekend.

dunc ferguson is still susspended i beleve so unless they bring someone up from their youth team, their only fit forward it mcCfadden

i think bellamy will be benched on saturday. there was loads of talk about him being fit for manky, then against the albion and hughes has resisted to bring him back to soon. think he will start on the bench and come on and do the business in the 2nd half.

Andres D'Allesandro is alright but he's more of a continental league player, well good ability and skill on the ball but at a height of 5ft 4 or something, can an argi hack the physical side of the prem, zola could but he was class. i'll will be keeping an eye out on how he preforms

the lad turner in goal for everton lastnight didn't play bad but he still let in 4 goals, made some good saves though. i think because the injury to wright was in the warm up, it didn't really give him to much time to worry about the game. he knows he up against us and will be dreading the prospect of facing our fire power and playing behind that defence again, valente(sp) who? how has that guy won the champions league
