  1. Yes he is, I would agree. Of our back 3, Williams is the most experienced but seems the weakest link so far.
  2. Nyambe’s graft is such a contrast to Williams so far.
  3. No thanks, Williams. Missed clearance right in front of goal and allowed the goal. Has looked shaky
  4. come to think of it, even though some of us are excited about blooding youngsters, there are still players to be tried out. hope TM gives starts to Chapman, Davenport and Big Ben, just to see where they may stand for next season. and then there are Gladwon and Dom Samuel
  5. I would throw JRC and Stefan Mols in the mix as well, they seem as ready as Tyler. Not forgetting the Doyles. C. Doyle could play CB. Hell, if there's nothing to play for, we could throw in even Jack Vale (I like how he drives direct), Jack Evans when he's back (LB) and possibly the young Hayden Carter (seems to be able to play in several positions), these 3 are abit behind in development just yet me thinks.
  6. Do not forget Lenihan, Butty?
  7. Happy with the result..happy for Tyler for his debut. we now have two U23 captains in our team, aint it? Travis and Tyler. They seem not afraid to organise and be verbal, and me thinks that's a good thing at the moment for the team.
  8. Things like Rothwell due a start, and discussing defenders when talking about Raya, no one should be surprised at being dropped after last week, kids could be involved etc etc..and we get an Evans-Smallwood in the middle, Bennett on the left
  9. When you have a manager who comes out to say he can’t be too harsh, subconsciously or consciously you are gonna cruise. And no matter the kind of performances you put in (see Williams, Bennett, Pass-back Smallwood), you are gonna get into the team, you are gonna cruise. think we can expect more of the same for a few more matches. All that talk of dropping players after the last match. I will use a phrase my grandson taught me, NATO- No Action, Talk Only. NATO TM
  10. Williams so easily shrugged off and beaten for pace.
  11. After so much hot talk about dropping players...Bennett and Smallwood get into the starting line up again. Bennett gonna play left wingback?
  12. After giving our so many new contracts, TM’s hands may be tied with regards to budget. Even harder to bring in championship proven players. that plus he is not exactly known for throwing in new players in from the off, preferring to bed them in half or two thirds into a season, think rothwell and some of the others. Might get two players and not upset the rotten Apple cart. Then go on to laud Davenport, Dom Samuel, Gladwin as as-good-as new signings. needs a character change for start of next season or it will be grim next season as teams would have worked out how to go at ours; our players would have aged; momentum dissipated etc. Etc.
  13. The thing is TM takes a slowly-slowly approach to bedding in players new to the club, Simply cannot see him chopping and churning more than 2 players perhaps (even at that) come start of next season.
  14. Funny thing that. My Southend mate’s saying the same thing about Hart
  15. Rotherham. They are a tough tough team who will use Long throws and Long balls into the box
  16. Christ, no communication at all at the back
  17. Now if only we have someone on for Bennett (not Conway)
  18. Get someone on Robertson. Gotta have a better second half
  19. Almost forgot that Bennett’s been playing. Quiet this game
  20. smallwood playing like he forgot he’s on a yellow. Diving in. Nervous watching him
  21. I would like to see Jack Evans and Jack Vale given chances too
