  1. Certainly the slowest team TM coyld have picked, with little creativity. Back to basics and hope Dack and Graham can get us a win is the game plan i presume. COYB
  2. Bennett is far from the problem. If this team fails it will be down to the decision to sell Raya and replace him Walton and the decision to spend the summer budget on a forward we didn't really need and not buy a centre half.
  3. Id expect cunningham to play tomorrow. The big question is will lenihan come straight back in or will he go with Tosin and Williams
  4. Some crazy comments tonight about Nyambe and Mowbray draining his confidence. I don't buy that for one second. Nyambe should have been chomping at the bit to get his chance, but when he did get it he was poor against Oldham. Bennett was very good last week so I expect him to start tomorrow. Very good time to play boro tomorrow and im optimistic that we can get the 3 points and kick start our season.
  5. I was thinking similar yesterday. Although I'd say that TM is more worried that the owners will ask serious questions if he dosnt play the forward he's just spent 5 million on, and why a 34 year old free transfer is still much better than the two players he has spunked a combined 12 million on.
  6. Just home after a long day traveling and many beers along the way. I thought the atmosphere at the game today was excellent and fair dues to the fans who probably traveled further than I did to attend. now about the game... I genuinely believe we played well today against on paper the best team in the league. If we play like that every game we will do ok. I thought Tosin was fantastic today and Travis really caught my eye. I thought we matched them for long periods. It’s just not really happening for us up front at the moment My concern is the keeper situation, Walton is a downgrade on raya, and I find it a bitter pill to swallow that we sold raya to replace him with Walton. i definitely don’t think we should be shouting mowbray out just yet,but he has made some big calls this summer and he will live or die by his decisions. ..
  7. Amd that's why Mowbray gets paid the big bucks and you don't. Drop Travis? Sensible
  8. Boy that hurts. Absolutely ruined the weekend and with what appears to be a very hard run of fixtures coming up it's very hard to be positive about anything after that performance. The new keeper looked awful, Bennett Mulgrew Armstrong, had stinkers. Awful just awful
  9. Sorry but you are talking absolute cr@p just to have a dig at the manager. Our most influential and dangerous player is Dack by a country mile.
  10. I hear big Ben's goal was a smasher tonight. I have high hopes for him this season
  11. When was the last time we did. By memory it was Everton away in the prem, the game ooijer scored a late winner?
  12. Agree that with a very difficult start to the season we must win this one. I think we will and comfortably. 3-1 Rovers. With the players currently here I would go with. Canadian Nyambe Bell Lenihan Williams Johnson Travis Gallacher Dack Rothwell Big Ben Really hope we can add a new keeper and cb to the team above. Great opportunity for big Ben to grab a goal at home to Charlton and start the season on a high. COYB
  13. 100% agree with everything Dunny says in that post.
  14. That statement just really dosnt sit well with me. It's like we really needed thar 3 million for Raya to buy Sam Gallacher. I see it as an admission that we didn't have any money to spend this summer.
  15. That is an awful admission imo, totally pissed off at that to be honest.
  16. My last post on this subject. I wasnt having a go at you or anyone else, other than the poster that said he wasn't watching the game because Evans was starting. This is the most childish statement I have ever heard and I called someone up on that. For the record I'm not even a massive fan of Evans, I think he has his use a squad player. But I certainly don't think he should be a regular starter with the current options we have. Travis, Johnson etc. I was lucky enough to get to a number of games early last season because I was in England regularly for work and Evans was one of our best players (apart from Dack). And we picked up some really good results in those games. I hope this clears things up. I'm away for for pints
  17. Listen look back over the messages and tell me what have I said that's wrong. I pulled someone for saying they weren't gonna watch the game because Corey Evans was starting. Since then I have been accused of being his brother, being biased because I'm Northern Irish (which I'm not) etc etc. I personally think it was petty behavior. Now enjoy your Sunday and stop melting my head
  18. Well that's that then. How can I possibly hold a different opinion to you now after a detailed analysis provided by whoscored. Com.
  19. At least get the facts rite before complaining lol. It finished 1-1,morelos was 300 yards of side lol
  20. You've lost me with the point of this post. I'm not here to argue enjoy the rest of the game
  21. More so than saying you weren't gonna watch a live rovers game because Corry Evans is playing? ?
  22. Joe Rothwell is a class act, I really hope he gets the game time he deserves this season.
