  1. Excellent team news. And what a strong bench we have now. Let's bring home the points rovers.
  2. I wonder was there any truth in the rumours we where after wes foderingham from rangers. He would be a much better option than walton
  3. Whats Joe Hart doing this season? Sell him the playoff dream and a chance to be in the premier league next season.
  4. Cunningham injury aside that is our best 11. 3 points please rovers, keep lenihan captain.
  5. Your every post dosnt half get scrutinised chaddy. Even when you are 100% correct people try to call you out. Bowyer got the job after a period of much longer than four games, and was widely wanted by the supporters and put a small amount of normality and a sence of stability back around the club. Hard to believe someone would even agrue otherwise.
  6. Like the majority of people on here I'm deflated and frustrated with how bad this season has been. That squad of players in my opinion are much better than our league position suggests. Im struggling to even get motivated for the game tomorrow. If a defeat would mean a new positive managerial change then I'm all for that. Never thought I would say that but its true.
  7. Fantastic appointment for Stoke, and a well earned opportunity for M O'N, to get into high level club football. Im surprised this opportunity didnt come earlier for Michael, especially after Euro 2016. Hes worked wonders at Shamrock and NI. He has a definite brand of football that will fit into the modern club game. I think the only small concern is that i hear many rumours about how fond he is of a little ''tipple'' , maybe thats what has hindered his progress into getting that club job he has always wanted. Ill be keeping a close eye now on all stoke results and wish him all the best.
  8. Buzzing for this as its my first game I can't attend in almost 6 weeks. Have a sneaky feeling we will claim a point or 3. Can anyone recommend a bar for away supporters pre game? Same 11 as last game please Tony.
  9. Loose this and mid table mediocracy / play offs are completely of the table and welcome to a relegation dog fight. So many thoughts about our current plight, we are definitely a better team than our current form / league position suggests. Does this mean with constant tinkering, square pegs round holes means that TM has lost the dressing room ? Surely Benno, Armstrong, Gallacher, Brereton, Graham, Rothwell etc etc, must be getting p*ssed of with being played out of position or not playing at all. I cant help but feel now might be a good chance to bring in a Houghton or the like, someone who would really galvanise this squad and get the best out of them. I said at the start of the season TM would live or die by the calls he made this summer, the biggest being shipping Raya out with no replacement. That to me was a cardinal sin and is really biting us in the ass at present. Back to the game, if we turn up for 90 mins we can win this one. Will we ? I don't know.....:) Canadian / Hilton / Smallwood Nyambe Bell Del (c) Tosin Travis Evans Rothwell Dack Downing Gallacher.
  10. He galvanised a pretty toxic and sinking ship when he took over. Brought the club and the fans back together. Got us promotion at the first attempt. However its all starting to go sour with the same mistakes repeatedly being made. Selling Raya, not strengthening the defense properly and the Brereton signing all masive and costly mistakes
  11. Has the manager lost the dressing room already? Because this is absolutely shocking. Tosin and Dack aside they are all playing awful and look like they don't give a fiddlers. Horrible
  12. Hanging my head in shame to say i actually did forget / loose sight of this game. thoughts are : two sides in poor form and desperate for a win. predictions score draw. Walton nyambe del tosin downing travis johnson holtby dack arrmstong graham,
  13. I agree that Mowbray needs to pull a run of results together quickly or his position as manager should come under question, but today we were done by a disgraceful dive/referee and a howler from the keeper. It find it hard to blame The manager for today
  14. So frustrating and annoying. Great first half Poor second half The reasons why we didn't get all 3 points is a piss poor referring decision and a bloddy awful mistake by our keeper. Not. Good. Enough
  15. Bar a criminal refereeing decision its been a perfect start. Nyambe, Tosin, Downing, travis, Johnson, holtby, dack all playing really well. Johnson nutmeg for the holtby chance lol
  16. Some people on here will love another opportunity to have a go a Bennett. But that was never ever a penalty. Cheating b@stard
  17. No no no, you got called out for a ridiculous statement saying that bell was good going forward. And now appear to be backtracking and somehow it's Mowbrays fault. Bell was playing well when we were in league one for Fleetwood and bought him for peanuts, it hasn't worked out for him in the championship simple.
  18. Really nervous about this game tomorrow, injuries are obviously a major concern and another defeat would pretty much end any playoff aspirations, meaning our season is over in mid October imo. However a good performance and the three points might help kick us on and put another decent run together. All will be revealed at 5pm tomorrow. I'd go. Walton Nyambe Downing Tosin Del Johnson Travis Rothwell Dack Holtby Armstrong
  19. Obviously I have a slightly biased opinion, but he's certainly not as bad as some seem to think. He was excellent at the start of last season for us and (as mentioned) always puts in a shift for NI. Interestingly some of his best performances for the GAWA have came as a defensive right hand side midfielder. If we were to go 3 at the back I'd like to see Evans in that role over benno.
  20. Wether you like mogga or not, you can not argue that he has hasn't assembled a very good squad. Rothwell, Nyambe, Evans, big Ben all out of the squad. Strong starting 11 and strong bench. Let's get at them rovers.
  21. Gallacher will score and a home win. Think positive this time tomorrow we will be top 6.
  22. With momentum building this is a perfect game to add another 3 points to the tally. With Forest at home on Tuesday id imagine Downing and Johnson will both be rested with that game in mind. I also see this as a perfect game to introduce Holtby to the staring line up. Walton Bennett Cunningham Tosin Del Lenihan Travis Evans Holtby Dack Gallacher
