  1. Personally I am still 100% behind the manager as I genuinely do feel that he has improved us year on year. However we have had a few false dawns in the past. Just as we are on the verge of the playoffs we always seem to fluff it These next 2 games give us a perfect opportunity to set a marker down and show what we are all about. No excuses at all this squad is capable of playoffs bare minimum.
  2. Says more about your judgement that it does anything about Mowbray.
  3. Today's the day we set a marker down. 100% confident a win is on the cards, we are simply to strong for them. Really gutted that I can't be there today, Luton away and Bournemouth away were on my bucket list for this season. Praying that Kaminski will start ?
  4. Agree with everything you said above. TK is vital to us on today's evidence and BJ was absolutely superb. He's the only player we have with a bit of dirt about him and that's vital in this league. Great to see BB get a goal and arma is the man. Still feeling optimistic. #rovers
  5. Really? If you've been following rovers for over 60 years your statement above is utter nonsense. We are playing a team 5th in the table managed by a very experienced manager. We have our first choice keeper injured, 2 left backs, our best defender, our best midfielder, dack, Armstrong and a few others. We've rode out luck at times, but we literally are down to the bare bones. It's nowhere near as bad as what you are making it out to be
  6. What a squad Hughes built for rovers. Add to that list samba, benni, RSC, ooijer, Dunny at his peak. Ahhh memories.
  7. This team and a performance like that can ruin your weekend. Positives? The dingles are 1 point from 6 and bottom of the league
  8. Yeah. The signing was strange to say the least. Especially when money is meant to be tight. But it is what it is. I would love him to come good, but he is still a long way away from justifying the price tag
  9. As things stand currently it was a terrible buy. I don't think anyone can say otherwise. The stats don't lie. I also don't hold the manager to ransom on that, you win some and loose some when buying players. Brereton was definitely a project signing. With the long term goal being able to sell him on for much more than we paid
  10. That's football.. Its harsh. We can't go saying there is no room for dack after one good good result. The forest and Cardiff games proved that we do lack that bit of magic in the final third and that's when we need dack. A fully fit dack starts every time in my opinion and the rest fight it out for the other spots.
  11. Yep it's do or die for this current squad. If we get promoted great. We will strengthen further and the contacts will all get renewed, if not I can see players leave and another rebuild is needed
  12. Despite his improvement recently, Brereton. Dack is the talisman and needs to be in the team imo.
  13. My thinking is dack has to go Central and arma then goes wide left. The false 9, firminho role would suit him perfectly.
  14. The concern is now, he starts to shine and leaves at the end of next season on a free... That would just be our luck lol
  15. Not for me. But I see we're you are coming from. Travis for Johnson and Dack for Brereton with the other 9 from today is our best 11 currently imo. With players like Nyambe, Rothwell, ayala etc on the bench, it's as strong as we have been in years.
  16. Personally I think the writing is on the wall for Nyambe. I think mowbray is fully aware that he's going at the end of the season and that's why it makes it easier for him to drop him. Having said that. He fully deserved to be dropped today as he was awful against forest and Watford.
  17. Harvey Elliott has some amazing magic in them boots. What a ball to play gally in there.
  18. I think had Ayala been fit lenihan would have been dropped along with bell, Evans & nyambe and rightfully so. I don't get why it always has to be a conspiracy theory. Nyambe has been poor so has been dropped. That's what should happen in football
  19. I think it's a fair enough call. Nyambe has been awful the last few games.
  20. This is the team that ld go with. I also think you arnt far wrong from what TM select. I'd expect to see bell for Douglas and that's about it.
  21. Whilst our 2.5 million strike force are killing teams. (aa, dack, dolan). You win some you loose some. Show me one manager ever that has 100% record with transfers.
  22. It's hard not to be excited after today's developments. The gaffer has gave himself some real selection headaches. It definitely has the feel of a last roll of the dice by venkys and the management.
  23. Even though I've known it's been coming for the past few days, it feels great that it's official now. Hats off to Tony and his team for an incredible transfer window.
