  1. I normally find some sort of reason to be positive going into a game. But I'm really struggling with this one. Boro away, will be well organised and drilled. Something we aren't at the moment. I can't see anything other than a defeat. Hope to god I'm wrong and we do pull a rabbit out of the hat, but I just can't see it.
  2. This is very much a performance from a team who have lost faith in the manager. It has stank for 70 odd minutes.
  3. Absolutely not. Two sitting midfielders is needed in 4-2-3-1. If you want Dolan in its Rothwell or elliot who have to make way
  4. Did it work second time? I'm gonna hold out till ko time and see what happens
  5. Taking everything into consideration. Firstly we were never gonna win the fa Cup. Secondly the league is our priority and being knocked outta the cup early doesn't bother me. Don't get me wrong I would have much rathered a win today. But to me our priorities lie with the league this season. And ultimately Mowbrays job
  6. Very good post. Sums it up perfectly for me. Anyone mentioning Mowbray and kean in the same sentence is bang outta order.
  7. I've been a massive Mowbray fan, and still am to a certain degree. I'm not going to start shouting for his head on the back of a pointless cup game. If I trusted our owners to fire him now and replace him with a really ambitious manager I'd probably say go for it. And I'm talking a mark Hughes or Eddie howe. Someone who would really bring the club to life again. The fact is they won't and we would end up with another journey man and could end up worse off. I think he probably deserves to see out the season and see how the second half pans out. No doubt that is a good squad and any less than play offs is failure
  8. So you don't think we can get promoted but you do think we can win the fa Cup 😂😂😂😂
  9. Absolutely insane to even consider risking Lenihan for this game. TK Douglas Downing Carter Grayson Lyons Travis Rothwell Dolan Gally Dack
  10. Happy New year to all Rovers supporters all over the world. We may not always agree but we have one common denominator... A love for our famous club
  11. If the venkys sacked now. It would be ruthless and would show that they have ambition and desire for the club.
  12. I've backed him to the hilt. But certain things tonight has me thinking has he lost the dressing room. That was as toothless rovers performance as I've seen. The V's have backed him to the hilt. Surely they will demand better results than what is currently happening
  13. No chance is this team going down. But that shouldn't even be getting discussed. Currently we are massively underachieving
  14. An abject performance from a team clearly lacking in ideas and at some times passion I believe tonight. That shite served up tonight is simply not good enough.
  15. Totally agree, this game feels massive to me. I've backed TM to the hilt, as I genuinely believe he has bettered us every season. But just recently it seems like that progress has stagnated. Time for a win tonight and to kick on again
  16. The changes that have been made, needed to be made in my opinion. I like Johnson he is the only player that has a nasty streak in him, but he has looked legless recently. I'm thinking we find ourselves in another do or die situation here. Win and playoffs still look possible, loose and its over I feel already at this early stage. Over to you Tony and the boys. Do us proud
  17. Absolutely nothing to fear from Brentford. I would be happy with a point, but the fact that they won't sit back and park a bus will suit us. On paper we have the better team. 2-1 rovers
  18. Sometimes you have to give credit to the opposition, its not possible to be the better team every game. Today I thought Barnsley were excellent. TK was superb, not just the best keeper since Robbo but definitely the best since Brad. As good as Barnsley were, I thought the defence stood up to the task. Loads & Loads of positives in a game that we were on the back foot for long periods but still bagged the 3 points. Norwich beat me late on for a nice acca, but even that hasn't damped my spirits. On to Millwall we go. #Rovers
  19. That's the second time I've backed ewood Park and the second time it's ran like a three legged donkey. Will I learn my lesson? Nope I'll be all over it next time it's out lol
  20. That starting line up today is mouth watering. To think Dack, Trav and Ayala all to come back and strengthen the first 11. No excuses this season at all
  21. I've done it in a double with rovers today. 8/1 worth a £20 investment
  22. Don't know where else to post this but for anyone that like a flutter ewood Park is running tomorrow. 2 40 Newcastle, 11/4 second fav
