  1. Awful result today. Fine margins in this league. Defence totally at fault for their goal. But can we please put this pickering shite to bed. The only reason we got the deal done at the price we did was that we gave him back to crewe for the rest of the season.
  2. Darragh needs to be doing much better there. Why did he head down?
  3. Wow. "Bennett out" now that's a new low. I actually hope it's some sort of joke that I've missed. Whilst not being good enough for our current 11, Bennett seems to be a very important part of the squad who has done nothing but give his all for rovers. Why on earth would a supporter start wanting him out
  4. I've been thinking about this since the city lad signed. 3 at the back with wingbacks must be in the managers thinking. Though I can't see how Elliott will fit into wla 5-3-2 or a 5-3-1-1
  5. Absolutely no reason not to fancy picking up 3 points here. Some big decisions need made with players now returning from injury. Personally I would like to see. Kaminski Nyambe Douglas Lenihan Branthwaite Travis Davenport Elliott Dack Brereton Armstrong.
  6. Pretty sure his contract is up this summer and can't imagine him wanting to sign a new one
  7. Can't see it mentioned anywhere else in the MB maybe I've been too busy debating with other members. But I just seen Chapman run riot today. Real pity it didn't work out for him here.
  8. Yet you stated "too slow a pace" as if that is fact which it isn't. It's my view that the steady progress that has been made is acceptable. I didn't set the bar low either, that was forced on me/us by lunatic owners. But that was the reality of the situation.
  9. I can pick so many holes in this. You lecture me on opinions yet you state your opinion that we have progressed at "too slow a speed". It's the improvement from the days of Coyle that I am most grateful for, as at that time I really feared for our future. But again had we made the wrong appointment after Coyle then we would still be in league 1.
  10. Managers live or die by there results so the current league table is a good way of judging performance. I really don't want to continue this argument any longer.
  11. The main part of my point was that we have improved since TM took over.
  12. Looking at the facts I would say we do have a good manager. Just a quick look at the team now from when TM took over would suggest we have been improved. I think it would be hard to argue otherwise. 2 names that have been mentioned as better managers than TM are Michael O'Neil and Neil Warnock. A quick look at the table would suggest TM is on a par if not better than them both.
  13. I can 100% confirm people have posted they would accept a heavy defeat to get rid of TM
  14. Try reading the board board after a bad result. '' it's the managers pension pot'' ''He only picks his mates'' Etc, etc, etc...using your logic then it's "lazy shite" being posted every time we don't win.
  15. I'm with you on this. If top 6 isn't achieved this season with this squad then I'd say its time for a change. But the manager has absolutely earned the right to see the season out. Some posts on here at times have me wondering if they actually support the club.
  16. Very good summary. Even if I don't agree with it all. Shape wise I thought we were fine today. I just think Luton were able to match us for large parts of the game. Travis we regain his form, but it will take him a while to get there. We are a better team with him.
  17. I was surprised at how good Luton were to be honest. They were much better than I expected. Good 3 points and yet another vital goal by the best striker outside the Premier league. Let's hope we can build a bit of momentum now.
  18. Oh look Dael Fry starts for boro today. You'd have thought he died the other day going by some of the comments on this. I don't recall corry Evans or David raya making such a speedy recovery. It was an accident shit happens
  19. Following on from the boro win recent history would tell me we would fluff it at home against a team we would expect to be beating. I think it would be a statement to get the 3 points tomorrow, but for some reason I'm not 100% confident
  20. Think this is the 3rd time I have said this but tomorrow feels like another massive match to me. Can we go out and put Luton to the sword and make a statement, or will we bottle it and plod along in mid table. I hope its the former.
  21. Whilst I respect your opinion I think you have called this wrong. Bradley Dack is absolutely one of our best players. He's in a group of 4 imo of vital players to us. Kaminski, Trav, Dack and Arma. Dack can fit into a 4-3-3 which I think is the formation we should continue with. We are a better team with Dack than without him
