Jennings has a lot of work to do on his technique. For a quickie at the moment he’s easy meat. Shame - and he’s by no means the first left handed opener to have this problem - because he does look a classy player at times.
Suspect Keaton may turn out like Graham Hick. A player who scores a lot of runs at Championship level but finds converting starts to good scores in tests beyond him. Could be good news for Lancashire though. Would we have stayed up with Jennings having a full season?

Here’s Harry Chapman.......
“He’s a great manager - probably the best I’ve worked under. I love his philosophy about football and the style of play.”

10 apps and scored one goal against Utd apparently. Me too, ave no recollection of this guy.
Was a Roy Hodgson signing I think. Think an Italian Jason Lowe. Games seemed to pass him by. Not up to the speed and intensity of the Premier League

A Donis. Bit arrogant ?
I'd forgot all about the Greek greyhound. He was just a shit Windy Miller in the end.
Used to wander all over the place did George leaving his right back exposed to a 2 on 1. Definitely not one for TM

Question.is will they play as much or just spend more time on bench. But earn more money. Look at Hugill when he signed for West ham. Now on loan at Boro.
Hugill didn't make a start for West Ham but has 22 appearances for boro so the way he will look at it is he was only sat on his back side for half a season and has an increase in his weekly earnings for playing at the same level

Josh King had numerous hamstring issues under Bowyer doesn't seem to have worked out so badly for him after his move to Bournemouth

England 49-7 after 21 overs disgraceful. Jennings top score with 17

Came across a programme this evening from 2014/15 season Jan 17th Wigan away. League table within has us 10th P25 w9 d8 l8 pts 35 and six points off the play offs perhaps were back to where we were four years ago but on an upwards progression this time!

Can't say I was at all impressed by James Collins yesterday. Looked an accident waiting to happen at any time played numerous balls putting fellow defenders under immediate pressure

Martin yes.
Marcus... probably yes.
The problem with both Olssons is they couldn't get a block on the cross coming in.

Agree with you, I watched on TV and in one angle they showed from behind the scorer, the ball was moving all over the place. However, I can’t understand how the linesman missed the offside.
Had the linesman done a proper job the goal wouldn't have stood and we wouldn't be having the inquest and castigation of Raya's role

Is it April 1st already?
I'm very much a fan of Raya on the whole but he needs to know blunders like the one he made tonight aren't acceptable. If he wasn't confident about catching it, all he had to do was pat it down in front of him. Not lose concentration and let the ball bounce off him to the striker.
Maybe being benched for two or three games might be the kick up the backside he needs.
Was right in line with that shot it was moving all over the place Raya did well to get something on it the way it dipped and swerved at the last second in particular

All I can recall of the home leg is a packed Darwen End and Altrincham hitting the bar quite late on.
Can remember Sir Roger Jones keeping us in the tie in the first match

Was around 1973/74 when we played Altrincham in the cup 0-0 at Ewood and 2-0 to Rovers in the replay with goals from Don Martin and Kit Napier if I remember right. It was an afternoon midweek game the replay. I was at school in Altrincham then and the entire school shut early so all who wanted could go to the game. Had a lot of ribbing after the first game those goals shut em up

There was some talk about Leeds looking at him recently but I can't see where he fits in the starting XI. Shelvey would give us far more if that rumour is to be believed. Bielsa/Ortiz will probably look abroad sadly.
Shelvey was absent for Newcastle yesterday having been to see a specialist in Barcelona midweek about a long standing thigh injury so that may not happen at the mo

what was the score?
4-1 to Chorley.

Bolton allegedly also owe money to Norwich which has not been paid

Credit to TM for the high press preventing Newcastle from playing out from the back. For respecting the support and the competition by picking a full strength side.

Stood on the vertigo inducing back row Y last night it was a joy to watch Lewis's performance. With an almost aerial view his ability to find space to receive a ball, his apparent time on the ball and ability to come away with the ball when he had no right to were particularly notable. He did tire in the last ten minutes which resulted in increasing errors and the referree bailed him out for the awful crossfield pass which offered a break for the toon. That was however an exception.

South Yorkshire police requesting Sheffield derby no longer takes place at a weekend but as a night fixture on a weekday . Source BBC news. This will be giving ideas to lancs.

Alan Nixon on radio lancs tonight reckons Ben's best position is as a right sided forward because he has pace and two good feet!!!!

What's is it now? 17 appearances and no goals . . .
Did Chris Brown have any ruled out for offside though?

Ah, anybody remember this old debate about Lowey's best position actually being right back? Didn't work out so well for them yesterday!
More lazy reporting article has him signing from us!

Other than lump it forward to Danny Graham I am at a loss as to what style of play Mowbray has!
