  1. I'm sure I read he's had a bad run of injuries this season, so sounds like a proper Mowbray signing
  2. I only read it online when it's not behind a pay wall. Refuse point blank to spend any money on it, no matter how little. Until they start questioning the manager instead of sucking up to him, that's how it will remain. I do however think Sharpes hands are tied and it's his bosses to blame. His job would probably be on the line if he went rogue.
  3. Its glaze is it. Thank god for that, I thought they were just uncooked.
  4. A decent outside bet. I stuck a tenner at 25/1 on him getting Preston job though😂
  5. Is he staying? Is he going? Media suggest he will stay, some on here convinced he will be gone at season end. I was one of those but now I'm not so sure. If he isn't gone within the first week after the last game I'm resigning myself to another shit show and relegation next season. I think I should probably take a sabbatical from here as just seeing his name is winding me up at the moment.
  6. Is he out of contract? Posh will be in the championship next season so could be difficult to acquire.
  7. Is there a link to this interview. I appeared to have missed it. 👍
  8. I agree wouldn't be my choice but he also might be better than whatever they have on their list. I don't imagine an ambitious move for a wilder or Hughes will be anywhere close.
  9. I genuinely believe there will be a mutual parting of the ways at the end of the season. I also suspect Ainsworth is holding out for the Rovers job too. He has been strongly linked to the vacant Preston job but no appointment made. Not saying he will get it but I think he wants to give himself a chance of the job he craves.
  10. Negative: I was at work so couldn't watch Positive: I was at work so couldn't watch
  11. That's enough for survival. However................... .. MOWBRAY OUT OUT OUT!!!!!!!!!
  12. Rotherham got a tough schedule though. Play Tues Thurs Sunday next week. They are gona struggle I think.
  13. I do the same. However I bet on us to win now, in the hope that another negative result pushes dickhead closer to the trap door.
  14. Genuine question and forgive my lack of knowledge in this area, but if we don't trigger his option can we expect anything from a tribunal?? Or do we just need to make him another offer(which inevitably he will decline?).
  15. It's well into extreme dislike for me. Infact he's now no2 on the list of disliked as he has surpassed coyle for me. This carries on much longer he'll be heading into kean territory but he still has someway to go yet. Hopefully he will be removed before then but I think we are stuck with him until the end of the season at least. Unfortunately we will need to sack him as it is clear he won't resign and to be fair it's difficult to blame him. He ain't gona get a gig at this level again, and we were the ones who gave him the contract in the first place. We need to be more savvy in future with contracts. Insert clauses meaning we can terminate with pre agreed compensation if certain targets aren't met. Not sure if this kind of thing is possible. I know top managers wouldnt accept such clauses, but chancers like Mowbray will accept it if they want the job surely.
  16. Without a single transfer window to assemble HIS team. Compare that to how many and how much money dickhead has had.
  17. Yep I've said exactly this myself. That said, beat Wycombe and its pretty much officially dead rubber time so I wouldn't rule out points against Bournemouth and Cardiff either. There will inevitably be defeats somewhere though. Can see 4 wins from this set of fixtures, just hope venkys don't fall for the 'progress' bullshit from the spin doctors running the show.
  18. Shields gazette reporting Newcastle are in for Armstrong at £16m. But the sell-on will be written off as part of the deal. Don't think we'll get a better offer than that to be honest(assuming it's true of course).
  19. Callum Davidson is an interesting option. Relatively new to management and won a trophy already in Scotland and not with the big 2. Plus Scots have a habit of making decent managers in this country for whatever reason. Not sure I'd want to risk it mind you. Didn't he play for Preston too? Maybe an alternative to Ainsworth for them, as the nobbers tend to take chances more with managers. We just take chancers as managers.
  20. Pretty good assessment but you missed a journey reset somewhere next season.
  21. I can see nobbers going for Ainsworth myself. Ex player and cheap.
