Bristol City and Norwich up next. Can't see anything out of these 2 fixtures. Wycombe after that is an absolute must win. Mowbray will still be in a job and we'll miss the boat on Wilder. Meanwhile wouldn't be surprised to see brum fire karanka this week and make a move for him.

Blackburn Rovers vs Brentford, Friday, March 12.

Get rid now, why wait till the end of season. Let's see what the verdict is on Dack first. I accept it doesn't look good, but I wouldn't put it past Mowbray to be using this situation as a means to deflect from his failings. He's already exaggerated player injuries on more than one occasion this season. ( I do fear the worst for Dack though I'm afraid) -

I'll say it now and I don't care if we turn it round second half. Mowbray out. Wilder in. -

They've had 9 days rest. Perfect excuse for Tony right there -

Have I missed something here -
I just momentarily hoped for a 5 nil drubbing tonight. Don't worry, it didn't last, because i know it wouldn't make the blindest bit of difference regards Mowbrays future.
-
Did we not approach him previously before he went to Sheffield utd, or have I imagined that. He would be a fantastic appointment, sadly I just can't see it.
-
I suspect he'll have other offers. I wouldnt necessarily say better but for sure other teams will be more proactive in getting a deal done when he becomes available.

I backed a draw tues and a win tonight on a double. Returns £50 off a fiver. Guaranteed we won't win tonight in afraid. -

Swansea 9th March at Home
Lucimo replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Haha yes you're right. I had a bit of a shocker there. Not to worry I've just had a sofa kip, I promise not to be so dense for the rest of the day at least 👍 -
I think so. Comments from Mowbray saying he wants the club to be in a good place when he leaves suggests something is afoot. Think he'll leave at end of season, probably don't want to be around when the fans return.

Not sure mate, just said on sky they hadn't beaten us in the league for 49 years at Ewood. Cup game maybe??? -

Didn't realise Swansea haven't won at Ewood for 49 years. I can only assume we have barely played them, but cling to the hope that it's a bogey(aswell as boggy)ground for them. -
Another option, and I'm no expert but Mallik wilks at Hull could be worth a look. I would imagine Tony would love him cos he is a striker who basically plays as an attacking winger according to reports. Similar age and goal scoring record to Jephcott
-
I think if Tony goes, Waggot goes too. Nothing to back that up, just my opinion. Let's hope there's some truth to it.
-
Agreed Tyrone, even a couple of draws would be better than nowt. I'm just not hopeful, but the sooner we reach a safety mark the better. I've just had a message through as I type this, apparently Nicko is saying we are ready to appoint a foreign manager in the summer if we fire Mowbray 😳😳.
-
Yes crucial win that. I think we'll be OK now. Sheffield weds are now 5 wins behind with a far inferior goal difference. Rotherham as I've already mentioned have had a terrible break just at the worst time, and for me another win and a couple of draws will see us safe. No guarantees of course and I'm not expecting any points in the next 3 or 4 fixtures, but after that their are enough opportunities to pick up the points.

That was painful. Cost me £350 that one.

Not seen the game today so can't comment but who will be dropped for Armstrong?
